« Quality of the rooms was very poor »

- The rooms looked nothing like the images online - they were very 'tired' looking and basic. The room felt pretty unclean to be honest - The service at the bar downstairs was terrible. No table service and 80% of the time, there was no-one behind the bar - Overall, the cost for this stay was ridiculous given the location and quality of the hotel - I paid the same price for a beautiful boutique hotel in St Remy a few days later - I won't stay at an Ibis again, given the experience

« Air conditioning didn't work for three days (in two different rooms) and my wife and I were bitten 50 times by something in our room, which according to the maids could have been bed bugs! »

This has to go down as the worst hotel we have ever stayed in. Here are a list of problems that occurred: - Reported bed bugs in our room - after my wife and I complained about being bitten 50 times in the night - Broken air conditioning for 3 days (after we requested a room move for the same reason on day 1) - Cold scrambled eggs being served at breakfast - so no hot food offering, which is disgraceful for 13 euros / person each day - Staff not being able to understand us and the problems we were facing

Check in Fast. Get into the room 205 very slow. Went down to Reception 4 times before getting a key which does work! Second night same story. Finally the lady let us in with master physical key. Very annoying since each time will leave the room we could not go back in. During the whole stay the staff did not succeed to solve the issue. Appalling! Bfast first morning...all machine off. No coffee and not even hot water! Come on!

3 day stop on way back home from holidays to enjoy provence and Avignon. Friendly, helpful staff, but reservation system with issues when we wanted to book one more night: staff confirmed room, in the morning we had to leave the room. Gladly it was possible to get another room and to stay one more night. Family room is a great idea, but difficult to understand why via Accor-App it is not possible to book 2 adults and 2 children. Air conditioning was working only on a very low level.

« Nice, attentionate and efficient team but no brush for the room toilet which gives a bad and stinking signal »

The hotel is in a convenient if not sceneric location close to the motorway. The staff is really friendly and efficient though obviously overworked. They smile and work but you see how many tasks they have to perform at the same time and understand that the owner does not overinvest. The rooms are not as pretty as the lobby but the shocking detail is the deliberate absence of TOILET BRUSH in the toilets with easy ti imagine consequences. If I were the owner I would feel ashamed at what this may inflict to your partner and to the cleaning staff if you made the mistake to absorb solid food prior to your stay

Reasonable room for the rate. Too far out of town for me since i was on my bike. Bike storage needs to be covered in case of rain. Food in the dining room was poor.

Well situated, close to the town centre and the highway. A bit disappointed by the reception (waited before someone came) and certainly by the restaurant: forgot to serve us while others who arrived long after us were already served. The cleanliness of the room and bathroom can be better.

Price paid at +- €200/2nights was above the average rate I normally pay at Ibis. This in combination with the hotel standards, in my view below the average ibis standards, didn’t give me a happy feeling.

Arrived at Noon and was told room not available. Your Accor promise clearly states rooms available from noon and we have stayed at many Accor Hotels arriving at noon with out any problems. I tried to use my reward points at reception and wad told although they could be seen on my account the receptionist could not access them for me to use? We were in room 101 and when we arrived it did seem like the AC was working but later in the day it was not efficient and the room became very warm, I did not complain at the time as it was late.

The hotel didn't measure up to the usual Ibis standards. The room was hot. I called to ask about adjusting the temperature. Admittedly, I don't speak much French, so I'll take responsibility for the language barrier. The first person had trouble understanding my question and she eventually hung up on me - or perhaps was disconnected? - regardless there was no call back. When I tried again, asking for someone who spoke some English, I was told that the room temperature was not adjustable because it was hot outside! The windows could not be opened so we just had a hot, stuffy night. During this trip we stayed in 7 different hotels and did not have this problem in any other hotel. The Pros - good location, easy to get to, parking available, good breakfast The Cons - room too hot, only a skinny pillow for each of us, no drink machines, drinks only at the bar and the price was 4.10 euro for one tiny bottle of Coke.

« The usual high Ibis standard, but too far to walk into town »

We regularly use Ibis hotels. They are clean, efficient, we'll run and have an excellent breakfast. This was no different, but was rather further from the centre of town than I thought when I booked (I was late in booking and hadn't researched very well). The up-side was that we ate in the restaurant on site on a couple of nights and found it very much better than we had expected. The food was fresh and included some regional specialities as well as (more unusually, in France) some good vegetarian choices. The restaurant had a good number of staff, but sadly with the notable exception of two waiting staff, they were mostly rather poor - forgetting the order, failing to bring the drinks, having to check the order again etc. I would recommend this hotel for excellent hotel service (large showers and our room had a balcony, which I hadn't expected) and the food in the restaurant was good, but the lack of experience of most of the staff there showed.
