Perfectly placed for my train trip the following morning. Bedroom was as expected - spacious and comfortable. Unfortunately there were refurbishing works going on in the reception area and bar area. Unable to get any wine for my welcome drink - other options were offered however. Slightly disappointing. Breakfast was very good, as ever.

The super best part was the location,so convenient. The hotel has a very good location just beside the train station. The receptionists were nice Room is spacious and clean. The bed is so comfortable. The isolation is good. Just the bathroom is full of calcaire.

I was most impressed with the 2 ladies at the front desk who went out of the way to assist me when I needed accommodation following the cancellation of a train connection to the next day. The room was adequate to my needs and the facilities were excellent.

« Why Security amount still on hold »

Unfortunately, an amount €150 has been kept on hold as security till date. At the time of check in I was told that this just for security reasons and shall be released on check out. I enquired and pointed out the same to the night manager on duty the night before checking out but wasn't able to convince him about this held amount. It was either due to communication difficulty because of language differences. I would highly appreciate if this can be released at the earliest into my Thomas Cook Travelers card ( from which it has been deducted). Other than this, my experience and stay was excellent. Although it was difficult to find the entrance to the hotel because of security with doors closed, it proved to be a convenient place to stay after arriving at Paris Gare Lyon from Provence before departing by air from Paris the following afternoon. The hotel is clean, tidy with comfortable beds and facilities, but the rooms would be rather small for a longer stay.

All the persons there were very nice and helpful. Benoit has been great. Some problems with the room but not very important (no toilet paper, no coffee, no soap) it was an omission and I asked the room maid.
