Very pleased to be recognized by the receptionist ( a black gentleman) as soon as we walked in. We felt like VIP. The receptionist was his usual very friendly and as helpful as ever.

« Fine for an overnight stop. »

‘Secure’ parking isn’t good. The gates lock but the pedestrian gate is broken and there is a big hole in the fence so whilst no one could steal a car anyone could walk in and steal the contents.

« An OK stay... but some improvements are needed. »

Room was OK - bathroom was awful. Breakfast was OK, but some form of warm option - even just eggs - would have been welcome on a cold and wet morning.

Bathroom was very tatty and needed cleaning properly. Mould round shower area and used towels left in bathroom. Bedroom area ok.

The room was very clean. The bed was comfortable. The shower drainage however, was blocked so we were not able to take a shower for fear of flooding the room. The breakfast was adequate.

Everything worked A warm welcome, Nice People in the reception, good room, everything in order, clean Good breakfast and a Nice and kind check out. Very Nice and relaxed atmosphere ( in strong contrast with the atmosphere and service in nearby Novotel where we took our evening dinner) Sure, we will come back - and we will have dinner in downtown Beaune

« OK. »

WE stayed with 2 seperate nights. 27th July Rooms 311 & 312. Both rooms very nice and had a good night sleep. Looked forward to returning. Breakfast ok. 9th August Rooms 210 @ 211. Room 210 was ok. However, room 211 the bathroom smelt of very strong mens urine. Then as we were about to go to sleep the Air Con started dripping and then running with water. This went on all night keeping us awake and making the floor very wet. Turning the air con down didn't make any difference. WE had to leave at 6.30am so grabbed some croissants to go but as there was no to go cups we couldn't take a coffee or orange juice with us. Something to think about maybe. I didnt report any of these issues as we arrived late and just wanted to get to sleep. Now I wih I had.

The receptionist was friendly. The bathroom is a bad design. Once you have taken a shower the floor to the WC is flooded.

A good stopover hotel with a decent double bed bed and bunk bed for a child. Toilet was clean. Shower was powerful. Parking was free.

« Dirty room and disappointing service »

I was on my way to the South of france when I decided I needed a hotel room at 50% of the trip. I was tired and it was more safe to continue the next day. Unfortunately I booked online for the wrong date (as I mentioned, I was tired). When I tried to recall there was no way I could get my money back, 52 euros down the drain!!! I called, mailed and dropped by the hotel but no results. I couldn’t wrap my mind around the fact that I Made a MISTAKE and nobody wanted to help me. Except for the kind receptionist at the specific hotel, but he had no say in this. A few days later we tried again, we called the main number and a friendly belgian employee of Accor hotels did his best to help us book another room for the trip home. I just had to pay an additional 25 euros and I could stay in the same hotel. So finally Some Cooperation. When we arrived at the hotel I had to explain the whole story to a new receptionist that wasn’t very friendly. After half an hour he finally Spoke to his manager and I checked in for the additional 25 euros. When I saw the room I was shocked. Hair on the Floor, stains on the sheets and the worst: poop on the toilet paper holder. I slept and got out asap the next morning. NEVER AGAIN I WILL STAY IN AN IBIS HOTEL.

« Generally good - but without reference to my preferences to my profile »

For the second time in this hotel we got a room on the top floor. The hotel has no elevator. My wife have permanente low mobility and have trouble using stairs. In my login I have listed our preferences wanting a room on the lower floor. The receptionist was very unmotivated and focusing more on the computer than us. We were explained that the hotel was not able to see our preferences.

« Value and convenient »

The access from the autoroute is excellent for a one night stay. There is also a supermarket and fuel station close by, together with restaurants that are within walking distance. As you expect for the money the hotel is basic but satisfactory. The aircon works well and parking is secure.

« Shower only cold water »

The 1th of july 2019 Ibis hotel in Beaune, had only cold water to wash and shower. The system was broken. Some guests complained , others didn't dare to voice their opinion for some reason. or didnt care.

« Great stay this time after an awful experience in 2017 »

Greeted by a super friendly guy who was really helpful and confirmed that the aircon was working well as we had a very uncomfortable stay 2 years ago when the air con was less than useless. Booked a twin room (as it is far cooler in the heat than a double) which, although small, had super comfy beds & plenty of space for 1 night.
