Room was good for overnight stay, set out was a bit weird with basin away from shower and toilet area, room was small, but ok as was only staying the one night, if I was staying longer I would look at staying somewhere else. Nearby is Sizzlers, Hooters, McDonalds, Hungry Jacks and only 15 minute walk to Wests

Bed was comfy and pleasant rooms staff were good and was easy to book. just bathroom is a bit cramped and shower didn’t work well plenty of places to eat near by walking distance

Bed uncomfortable and no extra pillows in room. Toilet roll holder was broken so roll kept falling on wet floor... heater looked unsafe to use as broken on one side, no tv remote, curtain looked horrible with all the fix up tape on it and at about 3am/4am we were woken to someone banging and thumping on the walls. My wife has ptsd and she spent 2hrs having panic attacks and begged me to just stay in the room because she thought we were going to be killed or beat up. After laying in silence and listening intently we realised it could have been a basketball as we heard a thunp thump thump followed by a huge bang as it or they hit a wall next to us or very very close by. banging went on for at least an hr and a half until another guest yelled out to stop being a ***head... we were sick, had our 1 year old with us and had got off a late flight and had 2hrs sleep that night. Woke up and we decided to get out of there as quick as we could. I ate the breakfast I had paid for with my room and my wife decided to forego it so we could just get out of there. If we hadnt already included breakfast with our room I wouldnt have stayed for breakfast either.

« Not special but gave me a place to stay that was cheap so that’s fine »

Overall it was fine, but the overhead bunks are rather uncomfortable and no blanket was provided for the top bunk either. But asked reception and they brought one up to us promptly so that was great.

« Budget but name, Budget by nature »

We stayed two nights. The room was comfortable. Bathroom was so small there was no room for a sink which was at the back of one of the beds. We paid $1.00 for Breakfast when we booked the room. This was overpriced. They do not cater for Gluten Free in any way. At least we got our $1.00 worth in coffee. The blind in our room was broken and had to be wedged into the frame to hold it down. It is very much the luck of the draw with the rooms. We supplied our own breakfast on the second day and as we sat eating it we listened to each person complain about their room as they checked out.

« I'm going to be brutally honest »

First up, the place was clean so no complaints there and it was only for the one night but it's not somewhere i would stay again. My first impressions were it felt like a jail cell. I've never been arrested but it feels like the cells i've seen on those jail reality shows. Value for money? Well it cost $100 for the night, for two people i guess that's ok but you can do alot better staying at a B&B, alot cheaper and staying in nice houses with a cooked breakfast and meeting new people. To be honest we only stayed there because i was curious on what they were like. I guess if you name a hotel after a bin chicken you can't really expect much. Overall, 3 out of 10.

« Clean room, horrible mattress »

Staff where friendly, welcoming and really great. Room was clean, heater worked great, bathroom clean, plenty of hot water for a shower. Would rate this stay 10/10 if it was not for the very bad mattress on the queen bed. You could tell as soon as you walked in the room that it had a bad dip in it and was even worse to sleep in. I was lucky enough to have brought a roll out mat in my car as we had stayed on a friends floor during our travels around NSW and had to place that on the floor inorder to be able to sleep. If I had not by chance brought this I would have checked out the next morning and booked into the hotel next door.

Reception lady lovely. Window in room didn't close. People knocking on doors / talking during the night in corridor /noisy very old broken air con. Hence the cheap accommodation price.
