« I should have asked for a extra pillow »

I have stayed at the motel a few times so I know they are small, next time we will pack a couple of fold up chairs it was difficult just sitting on the bed.

The room was a lot smaller than expected The staff don't service the room very well The bunk bed was not made and I had to make the bed each day. Climbing up is hard enough without having to make the bed each day too The bathroom was ok but no fan to take out hot steam The bathroom sink was in the lounge area which was strange Staff were lovely though and very helpful overall

« Good beds, location to football club and good price but on the downside bathrooms are terrible port-a-loo style with no air vent or sink and aircon was not working. »

We were there as a group attending football function so great location for us. We were rarely in the room except to sleep so it was fine for a few days but any longer would have been hard with tiny rooms and tiny tv.

« Very bad traffic noise. Windows not sealing properly. »

We were greeted enthusiastically and booked in well. The room was small as we expected but sufficient. The shower was hot and strong but as water goes everywhere the floor was very slippery. The traffic noise was loud as the windows were not sealing well. We reported this and the manager said that he would look into it. The breakfast was good and the coffee made by the barista was really good.

Had a pleasant stay and in some respects you don't really want to leave. Staff made you feel welcomed and well-attended. They will even make coffee for you. No curse words heard. The room was clean and well cared for. I was especially grateful that some very useful establishments, e.g., Aldi's, Hungry Jack's, Oporto and, surprisingly, Dan Murphy ("Give ... wine to those who are bitter of soul" - Proverb 31:6 NW) were just a walking distance away and KFC and McDonald's not that farther out.

« I am highly dissapointed »

When I came across this hotel I believed that it would be a good place to stay for two nights however this was false after my trip, when I arrived the room was much smaller than the pictures showed, and the room looked old and not cared for well, the mattresses were hard which led to me being unable to sleep, the shower was tiny and so was the whole bathroom, I couldn't get changed in privacy, the window was more like a door which opened up the whole way, easily could have fallen out, the facility in general was shocking and I am highly dissapointed

« Taking the word "Budget" to the extreme. »

Staff were nice enough, but the rooms aren't that clean, the shower/toilet units had a submarine feel to them and the walls of the shower looked like they had not seen any Jiff cleaning liquid since the 60's. Second day, Got back to unit, was lacking in towels and there was a cockroach crawling along my wall. Rooms can be budget, but they should be clean.

« Check in was terrible and room was like a hospital ward and the stay was noisy. »

On check in l had to present the card that was used to make the booking, which was my managers card who was in Victoria. I had digital cards and the hotel did not have tap-and-pay facilities. It took approx 30 minutes to complete the check in by asking my manger to fill in paperwork in order for me to check in (or wait 2 hours for the system to automatically debit the card on file. Evening was very noisy, youths staying on the same level making lots of noise and then going downstairs to smoke. Also, there were works going on outside that wasn't communicated on check in. I know this is a budget hotel, but the hospital ward room and overall experience was terrible. But the two staff members on check in and check out were great!

Dear Tim, I would like to apologise for the check in procedure. The policy we have followed is strictly for security and protection of our guests, it is the same for the tap and go option. We need a pin as a proof of purchase, with a tap and go option we again do not have that security for the payment. I am also very sorry about the roadworks, we were not informed about this and we could inform our guests. I have taken this up with both Sydney Water and the Cumberland council. I could not be any more apologetic for the stay you have had but this isn't always the case with our Hotel, I do hope you choose to give us another chance in the future. Room next to highway, night roadworks right outside, bed rock hard, TV remote was next to useless with half the buttons inoperative, which I gave you feedback on 12 months ago so obviously you feel that your guests can just put up with it.

Firstly on arrival I did a self check in, which was a disaster. The process appears simple and you are given a room card after providing your booking no and name however the ticket machine that prints the room no. ran out of paper so therefore we had no idea what room we were in so had to ring the emergency number 3 times before getting anyone, not happy after driving 2 hours after work and standing in the cold at 2am
