If you want to stay somewhere in this area just for the night this hotel is ideal. It has basic facilities however it is clean, affordable and the king bed we slept in was very comfortable. Very close to everything. We would consider staying again.

I had an overnight stay due to business near Olympic Park. Overall the experience was good. Check-in was excellent. The room was adequate but there is not much room with the tiny desk overhang to work on a laptop. Check-out was unbelievably slow, although the check-out person apologised for the delay.

I was very impressed with the hotel, I have stayed there previously and was disappointed with the condition of the hotel. I was hesitant to book again but decided to give it a go and was very pleasantly surprised. The person on reception (sorry can't recall his name) was helpful and friendly, the cleanliness and overall look of the corridors was much improved however doors and walls could use a lick of paint. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable.

We have stayed at this hotel many times. As my Uncle and Aunty live close by. It has a lot of memories for us, as we stayed here the day my Uncle passed..............and we were by his side when it happened. THe hotel is lovely, great friendly staff and a great breaky! I was especially chuffed as we were the guest of the night. We had no idea there was such a thing!! :-)

Not overly happy. I am a consistent Accor client. Gold membership Yet my to colleagues who have zero points...are not members and just turned up....both got bumped to a suite in the Novotel.... yet myself ....zip We both arrived at the same time.... They laughed about for days saying how crap it must be to be a member of a loyalty program that treats me like that... Embarrassing for yourselves that strangers to your brand laughed about how poorly you treat your loyal customers.... Another issue had with Accor

My stay itself was fine - room was clean, block-out blinds were a welcome touch. Notably there was a weird high-pitched squealing noise in my room, which was irritating, but seemed to spontaneously resolve upon flushing the toilet. The process of checking in and out, was far from satisfactory. I stayed in your hotel as a corporate guest - my booking (one of many at the time) was booked by our departments assistant who is located in another state. Details of her credit card were provided at the time of booking to ensure that payment was pre-organised by our employer and was not something we need concern ourselves with. We have followed this same process numerous times, and at several different hotels/ hotel chains. Not once have I experienced the same inefficiency and blatant rudeness from concierge staff which I did whilst trying to check in at your hotel. The staff member argued with me that there were no payment details on file, and that the system stated I was required to pay on arrival (which would have had to be with my own personal credit card - hence why payment details had already been provided). It wasn't until I was overheard on the phone to my manager explaining the issue that another member of staff stepped in, and showed the person checking me in where the card details were stored. The same ridiculous process occurred AGAIN on attempting to check out of the hotel, only this time, it wasn't just myself who had this problem. We were all asked to produce the credit card which was used at the time of our booking. As I'm sure you can appreciate, given that we were travelling from interstate and had not arranged these bookings ourselves, this was impossible for us to do. Rather than charging our room payments to the original cards used to make the booking (as we would have expected), we were asked to make payment on another card, for which only the card holder was present. Due to the number of staff on this trip, and the use that had already accumulated on our managers corporate card, this meant he had to then pay for all of our accommodation on his own personal credit card. For a hotel that presumably services a number of corporate clients, you would expect that this is a process you would have successfully figured out by now. I do hope you take this feedback on board, particularly around staff service - for people who are working in hospitality services, they were not very hospitable at all.

Enjoyed my stay. Staff were helpful and polite. My only 2 complaints was that i was unable to contact your reception directly to book my room and kept getting diverted to some non australian call booking centre. Who i couldnt understand a damn word that they were speaking. You NEED to make your direct reception ph number available on your website. So people can talk directly to your reception. I tried everything to call your reception. But kept getting diverted to that crap call center. If i have to deal with them again. I will book with another hotel instead of yours. Also. I paid $189 for a one night stay and still had to pay for your parking. That is a joke.!!!!!!!! I was expecting free parking on your site. I get free parking with every other motel that ive stayed at. I would have be ok with paying $25 for a one night parking space. But $40 was nothing but a damn RIPOFF. ..!!!!!!!!!!! I AM NOT happy about that and that will help me decide if i stay there again on the 16th & 24th of march for ed sheeren and bruno mars concerts. I will be only using your hotel now as a last resort. If i cant find anywhere else. Those 2 reasons above are the reason you only got 5 stars out of 10. If these two problems didnt exist. You would have got a ten star rating and no complaint. Reception could be more friendly. Some are good and friendly whereas a couple of them are okay and one senior white short lady who does not smile or greet properly. So the reception is a mix whereas I guess it should have been made better in terms of customer service. The above comment is not specifically on Ibis whereas it's on Novotel as well as both of them share the same hotel reception. This is the same with the Bar counter as well, the welcome drink tickets are taken in as if charity offered.

It is what it is. I usually stay at the pullman so the “bin chicken” experience in comparison is rubbish. Unfortunately for me the company that hosted my business trip went for the most “cost effective “ option resulting in me staying in a room that stunk like body odour & 4 day old chicken tikka masala. Anyway, not my cup of tea.
