hotel needs urgently a total renovation, I was not aware that IBIS still holds hotels like the one at Vienna Messe.

Having to fill oit all documents at check in for you is annoying. At check in i gave my name and told that i have a reservation with breakfast. They asked me to show them the email with the number confermation. After a while for the search, i couldn’t find the confirmation number but just the email that confirms the stay. Than they checked for my name on their sistem and finally they said ok. Why going 10 mins with this instead of checking the name? They than asket if i want the breakfast and i told them that yes, i want as written on the email and also that i already said i have a reservatiob with breakfast. They said they need to ask me onother time. They proceded to ask me it a third time. Very annoing. I asked for the parking, they explained to me where it was. 10 hours later i wanted to go put by car and back in the night. They said that i have to pay everytime… parking is 2,4 per hours or 24 for the day. If i go out at 10 hours i pay 24 euro and than come back for the night, i would pay 24+24 euros… why? Room are very poor, i get it, it’s the standard for ibis, but : 1) blue light in the room for the aircond is always on and very bright in the night 2) sink was blocked but they fixed immediatly 3) no electricity socks close to the bed 4) air vent that goes out from the bathroom, expell in the room… 5) I provided a credit card by email as requested for the booking (my company virtual credit card) they told me they cannot accept it for the payment since at the check i don’t have the phisical card. I explained that it is a virtual one , but they disn’t accept it. 6 You need to pay at the check in befor getting in the room! Overall not a good experience

I would probably stay again, the rooms are very simple, but clean, the mattress was not the best, but I managed. Nice selection at the breakfast buffet, had slight issues with check-in, but all good.

Convenient stay, terrible mattress

I'm a frequent visitor at the hotel and expect -and usually get -convenience with a good night's sleep. This time it was convenience only; the mattress of my bed had a proper dent in the middle. Not being able to lay flat on a bed.. I don't know if that is too much to expect.
