Staff welcoming and efficient, happy to help guests with information and/or assistance e.g. arranging taxi. Hotel spotlessly clean, well maintained, light and easily navigable. Friday and Saturday tariff competitive and excellent value for money, plus car park discount. Breakfast plentiful.

The hotel was within walking distance of the city centre. The lady on reception was very nice. Lifts to the rooms were accessed through a secure door downstairs and the room itself was clean and tidy with tea/coffee making consumables. Enjoyable night overall.

Check in was fast and easy, having already dropped my bag there earlier. Room was comfortable, and even though the bathroom could be described as a bit quirky it was perfectly fine. Breakfast was included and was reasonably tasty, although the bacon and sausages seemed to be a little over cooked and dry.

Room was clean and tidy. Main issues was very poor internet connection, in the reception no issues with internet, however on the 5th floor very poor. Key cards kept needing to be replaced, as would work in reception, but not on the door. The staff blamed the fact we were going over to the pool, however even a card that was taken over tot he pool stopped working.

From checking in to checking out the staff were first class. Food was good drinks OK but draught choice could be better. The room was perfect, cleaned every day and fresh towels when asked for. My only issue was the bin outside the door from the next door pub it was stinking. The pub is fine spit and sawdust but friendly.

The room was fine, somewhat basic but nothing bothersome. I found it was quite loud at night - we were staying first floor and could hear conversations held outside the window even with it shut. We were also right in front of the door out the lift and there was a lot of slamming throughout the night. The room was also quite warm and the air con didn’t seem to work. It would be nice if there was a fridge or even just a bottle of water each as drinking out the taps wasn’t pleasant. Shower was great however and the bed was comfortable. Location was easy to find too and the staff on reception were helpful and easy to get hold off. Really pleased about the discounted parking too. I would return to stay at this hotel but would maybe request a room on a higher floor.

For a budget hotel I was really impressed with this hotel. The room was clean and comfortable, slight downside was the aircon didn't work and it was a warm night. The breakfast was excellent and unexpected and and the fact it was available until 12 was a super added bonus.

We do carryout cleaning of the units, this periodic maintenance was several months ago, I will instruct maintenance to inspect the unit.
