« Loved the rennovation, still disappointed at the poor air conditioning »

Everything was great except the poor air conditioning. Food was good, service was terrific. I had requested a room with a refrigerator on the backside of the hotel and that's precisely what I god. Room never cooled down to be comfortable enough to sleep with the exception of Thursday when the temperature was around 18 degrees. All of the other days, when the temperatures were 28-29 were miserably hot..

The stay at the hotel was very nice. Room was clean and well maintained. Pillows were very soft and needed to be doubled up on, and room was very hot with no temperature control. Some staff members in the restaurant could do with smiling more, but overall it was a pleasant stay.

The room was very clean, but the air conditioning did not keep the room cool enough even during the nights. I had to keep the window open day and night for the room to sufficiently cool down. I was also a bit disappointed the room did not have a chest of drawers. All staff was excellent though!

« Disappointing »

There was no hot water available in my room the three days I was there. The maid removed the soap and shampoo after the first day but did not replace them. The breakfast buffet was not kept adequately stocked. I ate at different times each of the days and had this problem no matter what time I ate.

I have stayed on this hotel a copule of times. It is very convenient for Stuttgart Messe/Fair - only 15-20 min. in taxi. The staff is always very friendly and I feel always welcome. Good facilities and the restaurant serves good and tasting food.

We stayed 2 nights while driving back home to the Netherlands from Italy. Swimming pool was fun. The online dinner voucher wasn't worth it. You get limited choices on what you can order. Had we known that we would have probably just avoided the vouchers and eaten a-la-carte

Well, since there is a new team for at he front desk / booking desk - booking is getting less precise as it used to be. Since years I´m Gold Card rewarded and I always have my preferred range of rooms when I call for a booking. The past bookings weren´t that way, so that I had discussion at the front desk. It wasn´t the fact that you were booked out - it just was the problem of looking in my customer file and proceed a proper booking. Yes, nobody is perfect and failures are happening - but this is simply too much. I have the impression, that the only person who acts preofessional in a very high level is Mr. Linha in the breakfast area. Pls. show me in future that you on the way back to more professionalism.

Staff was friendly; Hotel was clean and nicely remodeled. Bed was comfortable and I slept well. 1) Disappointed that the rooms do not have clothing irons like other hotels of this class. I needed a hotel and requested one at night but one was not available. I requested again in the morning and still there were none available. I had to attend my business meetings that day in wrinkled clothes! 2) Would be nice to have few more english language tv channels. 3) Why is there only one-pillow for the bed? Would be nice to have at least 2.

The room booked for my son and I was a twin room. On arrival I checked in and went to the room to find it had a double bed only! After being questioned by the reception desk that perhaps that wasn't what I'd booked I had to go back to the front desk. I was then told due to last minute coaches arriving that we could have a double room but with a sofa bed. This wasn't what had been order and whilst my son agreed he had a terrible nights sleep! I do feel that my booked room should have been kept until I arrived or not sold me this type of room. I was extremely disappointed in the hotel and booking and will probably look at other ways to stay in the future which is a shame!

« Convenient Hotel that would be better if it was a little better organized. »

Overall impression was quite favorable but two events left us a little unhappy. We chose the hotel because it has a swimming pool and were of course disappointed when it was closed for maintenance. The front desk and the sign on the entrance door stated that it would open the next morning, we decided to go next morning but when we entered the staff told us to wait until the end of the day - a further disappointment. The next day we wanted lunch, I read in the brochure that an a-la-carte menu was available from 11…. We asked the front desk where’s the food and was told that the restaurant was closed. I went back to my room, took the brochure and pointed out that food was offered, he then remembered that food is offered in the breakfast area upstairs. We went there and we were offered the buffet. The food didn’t look really fresh so we asked about the a-la-carte and the staff member was confused. We talked further and another staffer found the menu and we ordered food- we were totally satisfied with the meal. Both of the events were minor but the team was a little disorganized. We were exceeding satisfied with the young lady that checked us out. I forget her name, she is of Ukrainian descent and previously worked at the Mercure across the road (where we stayed last year). I believe that her last name started with the letter “o”.

I saw the pan cake machine running out of bags after I got mine. I then very nice reminded him that need change. He then shout very loud at me “Thanks” with very bad attitude. What was I doing wrong? He looked very nice to other ppl who are local and eat at same time. Because I am Asian?
