« Good for an over night stop that takes pets. »

We have stayed here before in our travels and were very statifed ( then). This time however, we were on the 4th floor that the whole place smelled of stale smoke. Our room I hope is in the refurbishment stage as it also smelled badly. ( I was offered a airfreshing spray, however not good for asthma). There were patch repairs on the walls, cigarette burns on the side table, The side of the show was not clean. I do have pictures if you wish me to share them with you. If the room had not been pre booked and pre paid I would have probably left. But you had me! I don't think we will be stopping there again. Our prefered choice will be Holiday Inn.

« Good comfortable and friendly stay »

Good friendly staff. The hotel was clean and the room comfortable although a bit tired. However, the hotel was in the process of undergoing refurbishment. Breakfast was lovely especially the fresh orange juice. The grounds were lovely too. The only downsides were the lack of tea and coffee facilities in the rooms. Overall very lovely

« Staff were not all helpful. Decor was shabby. Characterless hotel. »

I booked services which seem to have disappeared as I could not retrieve the screen of the original booking. Staff denied they were there. Price changed. Not clear on when money works be taken. Website confusing. Room was not ready though we had been told it would be. Sofa in rook was horribly old and plastic. Paint was peeling in the balconies. Staff was often unpleasant. Breakfast staff told me not to take my plates to help them. Bed was ok. Cleaning ok.

« Great place for a summer Roadtrip break and Short visit to Aix-Les-Bains »

We were very happy with our choice for a short road trip break between Germany and Toulouse. Easywalk to visit Aix, 5 minutes drive to the golf club, 10 minute drive to a great choice of restaurants on the waterfront, a nice pool deck to read and relax on, great breakfast, and a larger room than normal for IBIS styles, with nice balcony. Great Value. Great bed.

« EXCELLENT STAY EXCEPT FOR THE 'IBIS STYLES' BREAKFAST »

Early check-in not available, but, a good welcome from the male receptionist; although a little difficult to understand [accent/way of speaking]. Excellent room with two(2) balconies, but, difficult to understand the lay-out of the bathroom; one could play table tennis in the open area! Problem each day with access to room; room card seemingly not programmed for each days stay! Breakfast was just basic; more IBIS BUDGET style presentation and quality!

« Needs a makeover! »

The staff were lovely! But the hotel is not to standard of regular Ibis Styles! The rooms looked dated then a bit of pink plastic has been added to make it modernized. The balcony was nice but it needs renovations it is in a bad state. The bathroom was old and not that clean. The bed was great. We went to the Spa at the mercure hotel next to the hotel it was not a great experience even though the price was cheap. The spa was dirty, the mold in the shower/ changing room area, hammam entrance and around the pool was disgusting. It was supposed to be a relaxing moment but we spent our time dodging the mold. The staff in the spa were really friendly.

The Ibis hotel is fine, however to have dinner at the Mercure 200m away is not be recommended. The evening meal we had was appalling, my dish, chicken, was served in a plastic bag, was cold and undercooked, there was blood oozing from the flesh, ca. 80 Euros = dissatisfaction. We will look for an alternative in the future. The breakfast in the IBIS was adequate.

« Good location »

The Ibis Styles Domaine de Marlioz is in a lovely park within 15 min walking minutes of the city center. The staff is very professionell and helpful. We had a very nice room with a balcony. The furniture is a bit oldfashioned but everything was very clean, the bed very comfortable. There is a nice Outdoor Pool. We will defenitely come back.

Old ibis style, Bathroom are clean but old. Bed room is large and clean. Elevator are dirty. No restaurant in the hotel ,but at 200 m in the Mercure Hotel.... Very expensive place for "menu du jour"
