I was staying in room 1818 which was very close to where a hot water pipe broke on the early morning of September 6th. There was already water in my room when I woke up in a state of shock to the sound of the fire alarm. A concierge present on the floor just pointed guests towards the stairs and that was it. I ended up circling the hotel in my pj’s and wet hotel slippers, then getting to the reception where we were greeted with surprise. No checking if we were ok, hurt, or needed something. I burnt my feet walking through the hot water and then felt very cold as I just sat at the reception for more than half hour. I then saw some guests heading upstairs with room cards. I went to the front desk and was handed over a room card with no explanation or apology or reassurance. “Go to the room, we will call you”. So I went to the room and waited. 1,5 hour later I called front desk for an update and if/when I could get my things from the old room. “In 30 minutes, we will call you.” No call, so after another hour I called again and demanded to at least get my medication from the room. I was brought the meds, no update about when I can get all my things. Been promised to get called again, which didn’t happen. By 10am, still in my pj’s, with only my mobile, I went downstairs to the front desk. I finally received an expected level of guest service from the front desk manager (don’t remember her name, but she was really nice). She provided me with another room and helped me to move my things. I received a voucher for a 1 night stay with breakfast, which I don’t think I’ll use. All in all I must say that I’m glad nothing more serious had happened, as the hotel staff wasn’t ready for emergencies at all. The experience from the night has been quite traumatizing, even though no physical harm was done. (My feet were sore only on that day, then it passed) I’ve been to the Pullman for business and picked the hotel for it’s proximity to my company office. I will probably consider walking few extra 100 meters next time so I don’t have to worry. Pipes break, I know, but how the situation was handled, still causes me discomfort. Please pay more attention to maintenance in the hotel and kindly (re)train your personnel to be able to manage emergency situations and provide a service that is worth a 5* hotel even during unforeseen events.

Overall it was very good however housekeeping needs improvement. One day no replacement soap, another day no replacement shampoo and on another day no replacement coffee sugar or stirrers. For an environmentally friendly hotel we constantly hung up our towels for reuse but these were replaced daily which contracts the ethos.

I enjoyed a literally PERFECT stay: perfect room super-clean, the whole staff is incredibly kind, keen to help and thoughtful, be it at check-in, at the bar and at the restaurant, when delivered a room service, over the phone. We had a very pleasant moment at the hotel. Friendly staff. The room was clean, soundproof, and very practical. Mattress was also very comfortable. Everything was really nice. The only point we suggest to improve is the breakfast: although the quality of products is almost one of the best we have seen among accor hotels, the choice was too a way narrow for a 5star hotel. It seems the (new) manager has decided to reduce the offer compared to the previous year.

I am a weekly visitor so starting to notice anomolies that perhaps one off visitors would not. Few weeks back I got a last minute room - no problem - the iron was a useless non steam iron - I asked for a steam one - yes sir no problem - never got it. Last week I had a cold shower - told the lady at breakfast reception when you are asked if everything okay - said they would fix - still cold the next day. On the whole it is good however based on number of visits I am getting mixed service/quality - also last visit my bed sheets had tears in one corner - doesn't affect sleep but not what you expect.

We stayed at the Pullman for a weekend, 6 months after we became engaged at the same hotel:) I contacted the hotel to try and organise a surprise for my fiance and they really did all they could for us. They upgraded us to a suite, sent us champagne to the room, and organised a meeting before we left. I couldn't believe how kind they were. Mahrine was the lady who organised all of it, and Bathilde has been very kind to us also. Could not recommend this hotel more.

The most friendly and warmest welcome I’ve ever had in a Accor-hotel. Thanks to Fanta and Virgiene. They welcome me and my colleagues the most friendly way. Explain us the hotel and benefits.
