« Good price but the overall experience is bad »

Staffs are all very nice; my bad experience came from below things: 1. waiting too long when check-in 2. System error (I paid the deposit when check-in but the system didn't show when check-out) made me wait at the front desk, while I was trying to complete check-out process around midnight so can leave directly next morning. The receptionist had to let me go rest first (thus I was not sure if I can leave directly next morning) 3. So I arrived room around 12:30 am, found out there was weird sound in my room, just in the decoration on the wall of the pillow area. I can't be certain but it definitely sounded like a mouse or some bugs. Maintenance staff came up checking and advised me to change the room, at around 1 am... Can't be worse...

Had a good time but meals in revolving reasturant were not very good .lobby carpets were not clean as wasn't behind lobby bar the cafe down stairs also wasn't very clean this time. Best part was the amazing staff. Breakfast dinning was very nice as were the staff. We still enjoy staying with novertel even with the bad pudong road problems. Special thanks to yolanea and Kobe. Too of the best .

The smell in the room was awful probably from previous wet carpets or water leak. Breakfast is 98% for chinese and 2% only for foreign visitors. This alone is reason good enough to never visit the hotel again. I will prefer other hotels that will welcome foreigners also.

It was a pleasant albeit short stay. I needed a room to rest and freshen up for a flight at 1.30 am. I was upgraded to a Premium room and it was an excellent experience. Had my power nap and meals nearby and all ready to go at 11pm.

It is a Premier room but the carpet in the room, on the left side of the bed is wet when I check in ? Most probably from water leakage from the bathroom ?. But since it is just an overnight stay, I did not bother to get a room change.
