Air quality in hotel is very bad with no possibility to get any fresh air in bedroom which was on inside of atttrium on the top floor. Breakfast choices were limited, with too many sugared cereals and breads and the hot food was tasteless.

Centrally located hotel with good facilities and great hospitality - Stayed here for a six day new year break and was very pleasantly surprised - nice clean hotel located off the Main Street and within walking distance of the tram station - the staff are amazing and very hospitable - they couldn’t have done any more to ensure I had an enjoyable break - very friendly and knowledgeable - if your visiting Lodz on a budget I would highly recommend - and will definitely use again on my next visit

In the room there was no carpet and the heating was not working right. In the bathroom there were absolutely no amenities and on the second day of my staying, housekeeping didn't make the bed (just threw out the trash). Even though the brochure claims the rooms are soundproof, neighbors on the floor were louder than that, slamming the doors at 6 am, screaming and shouting through the corridor.

I arraived by train, got to the hotel walking around the Culture center and down Sienkiewicza street. One can take the bus, or a tram, the public transport infrastructure in all directions leads around the Ibis hotel. It is situated centrally, indeed. It was snowing lightly, I checked in and arrived at my room. For my pleasant surprise there were hooks on the wall for hanging my coat - many hotels miss this feature. I stayed for seven nights, enjoyed the breakfast buffet, especially the pancakes. After a while one has tasted all the options and starts to experiment. Breakfast is fine. While it is cold outside, the great lobby is a wonderful place to stay. There are comfortable sofas and armchairs available. The rest of the days I walked the city, museums, malls, restaurants and cafes - very good coffee available in this city btw.One evening I visited my friends at their house. Next day in the morning I found out my coat was partially covered in my friend's doggo's fur. The hotel employee I met helped by providing the sticky-roll for cleaning my coat - really saved me. Great thanks once again.To wrap it up, the stay was relaxing and I desire to visit Lodz again, in the spring or in the summer.

The hotel was a 20 minute walk or tram number 18 which was not very frequent from the hotel to the station and finished at 6 from the station at Lodz Fabrzyna.THe hotel was nie and I had stayed at it many years ago.
