The staffs were very helpful as I arrived quite late in the night and yet they were very cooperative. Thank you also food booking the cab for my late night departure. It was a good experience staying at Novotel.

The hotel was profoundly uncomfortable. The lobby and rooms were excessively warm at all times, with remarkably insufficient cooling. Otherwise, completely unimpressive. Staff were very friendly, pleasant and helpful.

The room was nice and modern with outlet and usb. It has a tea and coffee pocket with a mini refrigerator with water. It also has a bar/restaurant. The hotel is in walking to Leadenhall and Tower of London. The main issue was that the ac will cool for a short time making deficult to sleep. This was the consensus across other people.

« Great hotel, liked everything, except the up-selling. »

The general experience was good, and we enjoyed the room, the bed, and everything was clean and perfect; the breakfast was excellent. Our only problem was that 50 GBP were added to our regular holding charge, for our one night stay. We weren't warned about this when booking the room; it sounded like this 50 GBP extra was a hotel rule. Later we found out out it was not compulsory, on Booking.com, after I reviewed the hotel there (and someone from the hotel answered my review). If we had planned a longer trip, that would have been a problem, as we wouldn't have known about this extra payment, and wouldn't have budgeted for it accordingly. So this should be clearly stated for what it is (that it ISN'T compulsory).

the hotel room was gorgeous, clean, spacious. Breakfast was good with lots of choice. The only down point was that our room was air cooled not air conditioned as stated on the website so it was uncomfortable to sleep as it was hot.

The hotel is very conveniently located and with us adding breakfast to our booking, our days always started off on the right foot. I really with the hotel would have told us about construction taking place on our floor and even offered to move us to another room. The smell of wood stain and the noise from people walking on plastic were not something I was looking forward to on our vacation. Housekeeping also needs to up their game. They’d basically come in everyday just to make our beds and fold our towels, but no new supplies were provided (toilet paper, shampoo, conditioner, soap, etc); on our last night/day we were using tissues to use the bathroom because there was no toilet paper left. :(

Hi, the place is clean and hip. The receptionist if floating which makes the place really in the “in” for the youngster. However the ac in the room was soooo hot even when we set that to the lowest Celsius and highest fan... outside at times is closer than the room. We called operator, reception and room service and we can’t get hold of anybody which it was very inconvenient for us with 2 children have to go down to the keepers to order food, we then decided to just eat out. It was also an inconvenience when bath Matt had to be ask and the room cleaner do not speak English. Overall it’s a good place to stay if only those were not an issue

Service was very efficient and friendly at check in and good to get a room upgrade. However the room was a dissapointment as there was a strong musty smell of damp in the room, suspect I fould out at least part of the problem in the morning as the showe door leaks so there was a significant amout of water on the floor.

« Pretty awful this time round. »

Drains blocked in basins in both rooms 418 and 406. Rooms not made up when we arrived back exhausted at 4.30pm. Threshold between adjoining room falling off and no carpet there making it difficult to get the wheelchair through. TV controller did not work in 418.

I had requested a room with a view upon booking -- this was to be our first and only night in England, and I was hoping for something special -- and checked upon check-in that this was the case. I was assured our room had a view. It did: of the rooms opposite and a dingy stairwell. The shower also drains so slowly that if you're in there for more than a minute and then open the door, it floods the room. Despite what the note in the room says, it's not particularly convenient to have bath mats available from reception when you're standing in a puddle in your room. In addition, there was only one bath robe; were we supposed to share it?
