It has a good room however my room faced the rear of the building and I like to sleep with the window open so was very noisy in the morning with the bins being collected, the breakfast was half decent but sometimes cold and laid out in a strange way and the lifts seemed very slow and took an age to arrive however despite all of this I had a pleasant stay.

Nice room and our request for a quiet room on an upper floor away from the lift was considered, but there is a demolition site next door which we were overlooking so 08:00 each morning work commenced, for example excavation commenced. We should have been advised about this and told what the options were. Breakfast on the first day was not very good, we arrived at 09:15 and everything was old and congealed. The eggs and bacon were not nice at all. We asked about opting out the next day but as we on a B&B rate it was not possible. The breakfast on the 8th was better though, seemed like a different person was running it, there were even beans out. We did get a discount on the parking rate though which was much appreciated. It was also not very nice having the smokers and vapers outside the front door. Move these people away from the public access.

Miscommunication when I requested to extend my stay, David was very helpful and arranged an alternate. The bar area was chaotic, separate bills for food and drink, could have easily not paid for one or the other on at least two occasions. The lifts are simply inadequate for a hotel of this size.
