1) The condition of the hotel is above average. 2) The housekeeping staff doing the cleaning were friendly and doing a good cleaning work. 3) Most of the (lady) Check in staff were unfriendly and not very helpful. I did not feel welcome each time I had to talk to them.

Most Ibis rooms will have carpeting as a standard, we just had ours replaced earlier this year. The only ibis in London I can think of that has wooden floors will be Ibis London Shepherds Bush. As per terms and conditions of Le CLub, the welcome dorm is on your arrival date only, and not for every day of your stay. I arrived late in the evening and was a bit confused as to where to check in - the bar staff eventually pointed me to what looked like the staff break room and someone came out to help me. The room was lovely and clean however very small. No face cloths in the bathroom and only 2 towels but was sufficient for just me. No trash bin in the main room which would have been useful, just one in the bathroom. I had not been warned about the construction going on locally and my room directly faced it which was a bit of a pain hearing the noises through the night and early morning. The tv volume also would not go loud enough for me to hear over the air con and I couldn’t turn it off and open a window as the construction was just as loud. But it was ok, I had a book to read. I was happy that the room and bathroom were spotless though, anything else was just a minor annoyance which wouldn’t have bothered me so much had the cost of the room been cheaper, but when you pay a fair price you expect a little more.

Coming back from a day out in London (Saturday). The housekeeping Staff decided to throw away my washbag considering I was staying till Sunday morning. When I enquired why it was taken to the check-in receptionist, she refused to help or discuss it. In my view it is an act theft. And also ninety percent of your staff don't understand English.

No hotel Manager on site for all days of stay! Just 2 untrained young girls! No telephone in room at least to contact reception! No waste bin in room!! Problem with shower from day 1! Fixed on day before departure! Requested change of room and was given keys of occupied room! On arrival no formal reception! Requested full prepayment in order to check us in! Breakfast relatively good in choice but poor in quality! No heating in room! When asked we were given a small electric fan heater! etc etc etc
