« Disappointing experience »

Dissatisfying experience. We were two peopel staying in room for two people but I had to ask two times for supply for two people (towels, hygienic sets etc) and we, actually, did not get. Wi-Fi signal constantly kept disappearing. In the middle of our stay, fire system leacked and once we woke up in wet bad because of this. TO summarise, Novotel Leuven hardly can be rated as 4 star hotel. Overpriced and dissatisfying stay.

The rooms were nice and clean, but I think you can invest in glass mugs and glasses for the rooms, the polystyrene cups are not good. The eating hall was also very dirty every morning. Any spills from the breakfast tables are directly wiped onto the carpet and left there until end of breakfast time.

I visited Novotel again, unexpectedly after a hectic time, I was made very welcome. The friendliness of all the staff sets them apart from other places I stay. Only in France and Italy do I find people equally this nice, but I am greeted as a friend, and with some of the staff I have indeed become friends.

The stay was good, online checkin was simple.the reception did not seem to undersdand that i had checked in online and monies were reserved for outchecking.i have not had this problem in the Neverlands.

Room tight for 4 people but we had a good night's sleep. Parking underground expensive but necessary. Location further from town centre than I envisaged. 50E credit card hold uncessary given room only cost E85. Why can't I just pay as I go? Breakfast OK. Good value for children.

We booked a room for a family of 4 on a road trip back to the UK from Italy. Wanted to stay in Ghent but couldn't find suitable accommodation so decided on Leuven instead. It was tight for 4 people (very different from the Novotel Suite we recently stayed in) but the beds were comfortable and we all had a good night's sleep. Location is further away from the old town centre than I realised (a good 15 min walk) and it's situated on a ring road which is easy to get to from the motorway. Town was very quiet and food very expensive compared to rest of europe. Secure parking underneath at 20 euros a night is expensive. There is free parking on the street but with a car full of belongings we wanted something locked. Having paid in advance for room and breakfast there is a very complicated revalidation on credit card for extras which is unncessary. We bought 2 drinks at the bar which we could have just paid for there and then rather than having to sign for an addition 50 euro credit. Breakfast was OK and kids ate for free.
