The Novotel is conveniently located to the train station and AB InBev offices. The staff were friendly the hotel was well kept. I do wish the restaurant was open longer hours (there was no lunch service at 1:30pm when I was there).

This hotel has underground parking next door which seemed secure even though it was public. The room was nice enough, although not the best value for money compared to others on our trip. Walking into the centre only takes 10 minutes. Breakfast was good.

Great staff, the bar staff (the Palestinian brother and sister) were awesome. Food was great. Check in and out was perfect. But it was a hot week and the air conditioning was useless and meant we could hardly sleep at all - it was almost completely useless in cooling the room

Overall it is a nice hotel, maintained well and the staff is very welcoming and helping. There is no easy way for customers with cars (I realize in a lot of case it is not necessary, but in some it is). Parking is not associated with the hotel in any way except 1 of the two elevators going down to the parking. The signs to the entrance of the hotel from the parking are obscured and my first experience was -- I am lost in a parking with no way to get up in the hotel, but to climb the gangway back to the street. The signs are worth 2-3 Euros and it would be nice if there are some to point to the elevator and stairs entrance to be obvious to the drivers. The hotel may have struck a deal with the parking owners to organize the payments better. I could not use my corporate AmEx card (although I was told by two of the front desk people I could). In Munich for example the hotels of the chain have organized it better -- the parking is paid in the hotel along with the hotel bill the front desk people can operate with the parking stub system with no issues. Now I have to go through hoops to expense the charges from my personal Visa card. Except this real inconvenience with the parking the hotel staff is very helpful and the rooms are clean and welcoming. Interesting decision (maybe it is just standard in Belgium) is it separate the toilet from the bathroom. The only place I have seen that so far. I staid 4 nights and there was only a single miss of the cleaning crew -- I did not have foot towel one of these days, but it is OK, sometimes people forget. Overall very clean and well maintained rooms. One last thing is the AC. There is no real AC in the room, but just a thermo-exchange system. You would think more is better, but a hint from a front desk clerk made it more comfortable for me. After a nigvht of sweating I was hinted that it is better to keep the thermostat in a border-line position and the fan to 1-2 position and the room would be cooler. This was true. Although a real AC with shared thermo would work better for the hotel. After all we pay top-euro for the stays, right? I am glad I can express my detailed opinion and I hope it reaches the right people. Make things more attractive and give yourselves better reviews this way -- the key to success in the information age. Thank you.

Very good staff- attentive, pleasant, knowledgeable Carpets make the hotel look worn out. Need replacing or at least a deep clean. The handi phone in the room did not work due to power problem. It is also too complicated to use to order room service. I needed to go down to the restaurant to get a menu and then go back to the room to order by phone. It is a gimic and should be dropped.

Somewhat disappointed with this visit, to a hotel I stay in quite regularly. With only one member of staff handling check-in, I waited over 15mins having arrived hot and tired from my travel to be checked into my room. I was in room 607 . Air conditioning was useless offering no relief on a warm sticky night. In addition there is some form of outside air vent above the window of this room which made a noise all night making it very hard to sleep. Wifi signal was also poor. I usually have a very nice stay in this hotel but this not one of those visits.
