Some improvements are required: the sofa on the bed is not fixed and is sliding. The breakfast is satisfactory as quantity but below compared with other IBIS locations

Overall our experience was good. We had problems with a toilet that wouldn't stop flushing and this was sorted quickly. The room was quiet as it faced the rear courtyard. The rooms/bathroom are a little dated but clean and the bed very comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful and similar to many other hotels. The staff were very helpful. In common with many hotels in Europe there is no tea/coffee facilities in the room, which would be good to have.

Room was confort to Ibis standard. The location was good (10 to 20 minutes walk from old town square, Wasceslas square, main railway station, etc.) hovewer you have to climb a little on your way back to the hotel, but not an issue for me. The only think is that, even if the price of the room for each night eas the same, the was a difference of 11 czech crown between the amount I pay and the amount on my reservation, probably came from the way tax have been calculated.

Ibis provides service and room design in each hotel location. Some of them have nicer reception with wider space and colourful seats, and sometimes these make you feel happy with some other small details especially when prices lay under 60 EUR regardless of season and national holidays, like Ibis Budget in for example Paris. Ibis Wenceslas Square, has, in this sense, little to offer: 90 EUR for Easter and simply nothing else than location. It was boring. Boring corridors, boring reception hall, boring window view, boring bathroom. One should consider the small family houses within the subway coverage in Prague, before booking such a place for 90 EuR, where subway is quite reasonable and a nice experience. Or an airbnb. Ibis Wenceslas Square will not probably be my next base in Prague.

« Pleasant staff and quiet location, we had everything we needed. »

We were able to check in early and when we requested extra pillows these were brought to our room within 10 minutes. The staff were very friendly and answered all of our questions, even providing brochures and a map for Prague. The room was clean and comfortable with enough space to put our clothes.

We were checked in by Mr Erik who was extremely professional, handing us all types of information for our sightseeing in Prague. It is in easy walking distance of the main sights, my girls and I walked everywhere durng our 3 days here, all good exercise! The Prague castle is a real gem, with lots of food stalls serving up hot or cold specialities..we are missing the Frozen Ice Trd'nikel already!! I loved the spacious and well decorated breakfast room, ( great touch the hanging pots and pans, very european !!). The manageress at breakfast was always happy and smiley, all the staff in general were very helpful. The breakfast was varied, hot and cold food, salads, fruit and yoghurts, with some delicious czech pastries also available. Nutella or chocolate spread for the kids would have been good. The room was o.k, the bed topper with it's upturned end made it a little uncomfortable to sleep at first ( I believe it just needs replacing , also better pillows would have helped, as the ones in our room were either lumpy or empty!! All in all, I would definitely return to this Hotle, so thank you to all the staff for having made our stay a good one !

Great value for money in a good location. Only problem with the hotel is that the rooms are fairly hot and the air conditioning isn’t very good, so you have to leave the window open to keep the room at a reasonable temperature.

I found the accommodation adequate. The bed was large and the quilt was warm, but the pillows were lumpy and uncomfortable. The bathroom was clean, but the lights were too bright and the ventilation was inadequate. Sometimes, there were smells coming from the basin. There was no kettle. The wi-fi was unusable as the connection was insecure and Google did not work.

I have been choosing Ibis for my staying for a lot of years. This was the worst. The shower was clogged, so I had to make pauses during my shower, otherwise, the bathroom would sink! The sheet had blood stains, the rubbish bin had no bag so everything was thrown out and I had to repeatedly put them in, the window did not open at all, the breakfast was poor compared to the price and finally, I had to send an e-mail in order to get my invoice, even though I asked twice for it during my stay. Definitely a bad choice.
