Location is excellent, Restaurant food, team and service was fabulous. Disappointing arrival experience, front desk staff who did the check in was very unprofessional. (It happened to be the same person who did my check in the first stay and the recent stay too. Poor housekeeping service.

We stayed two nights with our 6 month old baby, we were lucky to be upgraded after requesting a room with a bath. This is one of the best Accor properties I’ve stayed at in some time, the service was excellent, in staff sourcing a replacement bath plug for bath time, when ours broke!

I've booked 2 rooms (one for 3 and one for 2). The room for 3 was not ready when I checked in. The second bed was not done. In addition, in the bathroom there were not enough products for 3 pax and a pair of towels was missing. I called the reception and after 30 min of waiting, I went directly to the reception to request housekeeping. Moreover, I've requested the two rooms to be connected but that was not the case. Finally, the hairdryer was not working. We've booked two Superior Rooms and to be very honest, I was not impressed at all by the room and the amenities.

Our stay at this hotel was somewhat impacted by a very warm week in London and a busy holiday period. Whilst the room was a reasonable size and well appointed the air-conditioning could not cope. A fan was in our room to help circulate the air. In the restaurant staff struggled to keep food up for the breakfast buffet and hygiene suffered. At one point frozen Gluten Free bread was put out which required guests to handle to separate individual pieces from the loaf. Noting these problems I acknowledge that circumstances may have been a little extreme and I would consider staying here again as the general property standard is high and the location excellent.

Stayed here 1st of September for two nights , the hotel is lovely, very clean . Check in was fast and easy room was a great size would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone . Matt the manger made us feel very welcome thank you Matt . The bar is a great size and nice cold pint not to expensive really . Breakfast was very good lots of stuff to choose from, definitely will return next year . So a big thank you to Matt and his team keep up the good work .

« Mechanical breakdown, terrible service, deceptive descriptions on website re facilities »

1. Air con did not work at all & staff left window open all day so we could not sleep properly in the heat & humidity. We accepted the fan offered but it was insufficient. Result, room stank. 2. Room description on web page was deceptive (ie bathroom sink less than 2 feet from bed and no screening doors to protect privacy of shower and toilet.) 3. Mini bar cooler did not cool at all, was not repaired and medication had to be carried by us elsewhere. Offer of fridge in kitchen not practical 4. Receipt was not adequate not on letterhead 5. Staff attitudes generally unhelpful, exception Monday night bar. Notable that Staff phones left unattended on an unattended reception table. 6. Public spaces were well presented at cost of rooms. Guests encouraged to be eco-sensitive but the lighting in public spaces was anything but eco-sensitive. 7. Higher price and lower quality than a 5 star hotel in a better location. (examples - towels very small and worn. Warm water and warm UHT in a cooler that was warmer than the ambient temperature of the room.) 8. Accor member for over 15 years

Our first family visit to London. Extremely impressed with everything your hotel had to offer. We had a little welcome pack & souvenir waiting in our room on arrival, was such a lovely touch. We felt welcome as soon as we stepped in the lobby, all of the staff were pleasant & helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Thank you for making our stay one to remember. Will be booking again soon

Very nice Hotel with friendly staff at Reception and Bar. Only couple of things to note: 1) cleaning staff need to pay more attention while replacing bathroom towels, as they kept the same dirty towel with black spots until we placed it on the floor for them to understand that it must be replaced. 2) Bathroom in Room 203 was not working well and accumulated a water that was leaking to the floor. We reported it to Reception but Technician never showed up.

On arrival the sofa was made up into a bed so I had to ask for this to be changed back into a sofa. This was done immediately and when I mentioned to the lady who did this that the air cooling system didn't seem to be working she provided us with a fan, again immediately. The next morning the coffee maker wouldn't work, it turned out it wasn't plugged in but this meant we had to remove the fridge to get to the socket to plug the coffee maker in so it seems that this room was not properly prepared for us.
