Reception staff was unfriendly, reception hall was really dirty on carpet, so were hallways. Room quality was quite old and not so clean

« Very Expensive but OK!! »

Milton Keynes in itself is very expensive for hotels but this stay was higher than usual. I would say that I'd expect a lot more for almost £200. The rooms are very dated and uninspiring. The reception area is nice and although very small the gym was OK. I would not stay here again as value for money it isn't.

The hotel was good the sofa bed was very uncomfortable. We loved the pool and the hotel staff where friendly. But the hotel restaurant was awful the children left all there food and we had to go out and get them something else to eat.

Dinner was great and staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good as well. Room very comfortable and cool room. Swimming pool was nice to relax in after 5 hrs driving.

The hotel is nice.The gym and swimming pool were great. I cant fault with that. Sauna was lovely. I didnt eat at the hotel. The staff were friendly. The rooms were standard and modern. The staff were nice and friendly and provided good service. The hotel is busy and is a family friendly hotel, The location of the hotel is near noisy roads. There are nice walks behind the hotel so you can get to shops and chinese take away.

My partner and I had been given a trip to Bletchley park for a present. We came in October and stayed at this hotel, but did not see everything at BP, so came back in June to re-use the ticket, managed to see everything this time. Unfortunately, the weather was worse in June than October. The hotel has very good parking, booking in was simple, we did it on line, all we had to do was register our car for free parking. The room was spacious and the beds were comfortable. We didn'tuse the room safe but it was there and free. Like all rooms to hotel could do with more plug sockets unless you bring your own extension lead. The tv had the basic Freeview package, strangely though, there was no ITV3 but you could get ITV3+1. The wi-fi was fine no dropped connections and downloads were good. The real positive of this hotel was the breakfast, it is fantastic and effortlessly run by Sandra, who we met on out last visit, she ensures everything is just perfecr, she is attentive, without being intrusive, a reall asset to the hotel. Would we visit again, you bet.

Better than average for the price paid. Room was clean. Food was good. Bed was comfortable. Surroundings OK. Didn't get chance to use the pool as had early prior commitments and England (football) were playing live in the evening.

Good points. Information on arrival. Breakfast very good. Not so good. When asked at reception if our family could join us the next morning at breakfast, told yes prices £13.95 for adults children 12yrs and under free. The next day at breakfast told that 12yr granddaughter was adult price but because of wrong information we could pay half price for her. It was not our mistake but we paid. Also two night stay, we were told that the reason the room was not cleaned was because we had a two hour nap on one day. Even though we put the please clean room sign on door. Could do much better.

Rooms comfortable and clean all facilities very good . Breakfast was very nice and bar food was very good . All the staff were brilliant and helpful and I would highly recommend this hotel to friends. Will back again in the future. Only slight inconvenience was the Ev car chargers at the time not enough , possible a fast charger in car park would help when demand is high Regards Bernie

I stayed for three nights. The room was well appointed and the bed comfortable. Breakfast was good. On the first night when visiting the restaurant at 9pm we were told it was fully booked although only 5 tables were occupied. We ate in the bar. My steak that I ordered medium rare was instead served well done. The second night was better and no issues with the food. On saturday I had an unfortunate incident where I could not use the electric vehicle charger as someone who was not charging had parked in the space. Unfortunately you do not log registration numbers to rooms so we could not get it moved meaning I had to drive into Milton keynes to charge. This meant that the hotel lost our custom in the restaurant as the three of us ate in town whilst the car charged.

We had an enjoyable stay at Novotel Milton Keynes. The staff were amazing. We requested a room with a sofa bed which they were able to find for us and moved our bags into the new room. The restaurant staff were very attentive and responsive to our requests. There were only two Electric Vehicle charging points and they were both taken. Please install many more low power (3kW) chargers so people can charge overnight. This will also attract more customers if you have a decent number (12 or more). Try to locate them far from the entrance to reduce the likelihood of them being ICED (blocked by an Internal Combustion Engine car)
