« i love this hotel. »

it was my third time at this hotel. There is very good public transport close to the hotel, and the center of Alexanderplatz is within walking distance .The breakfast is quite varied. The staff were very friendly. In conclusion, the ratio of price to value is fair.

« Satisfied with Hotel room, but not with breakfast situation »

There were extremely many people in the hotel restaturant area during breakfast. Experienced lack of food (scambled eggs, bacon, honnie, Nutella etc.). There were to few waiters and kitchen personel compared to the amount of guests. If you were not in the breakfast area before 8.30 there were a long waiting que.

I’m an Accor Platinum member since years and I have to say this has not been a good experience. They gave me a room for handicapped with a bad smell, even with poor fornitures and no espresso machine, no slippers. The dinner menu is really limited and the espresso coffee in the breakfast is bad.

Stay was good but I dnt like the fact that I would not get reward points for my stay left me hurt because end of the day I. Had to tell hard with my travel agent to book Novotel normally they dnt but I pushed him and got to Novotel because we like your group and we are sliver members that’s why

We came to Berlin due to business reasons. We decided to stay at Novotel due to its location and connections. As a gold member I can only say that I had to wait few hours for our room, but we spent a nice afternoon in the city and when we come back everything was perfect.

« Lovely hotel with very pleasant and helpful staff »

J was warmly greeted on my arrival. I had a pleasant room. The window looked across to other rooms so not much of a view but it was comfortable and clean. The bed was extremely comfortable and the bathroom lovely with fluffy white towels. Novotel Mitte is in a very good situation. Hotel staff are friendly and helpful. I hadn't booked to have breakfast and first morning I tried to have a continental breakfast and had a bit difficulty explaining what I wanted but the next morning was no problem. On my last morning I had the full breakfast but think 21 euros is a bit expensive. I had dinner one night which was lovely.

- Check in and check out was very smooth and easy - Breakfast buffet was excellent - Location was coinven ient - Standard of room was below par, we were given a disabled room which was clearloy in need of a renovation - Bed was ok but not to Novtel standard

The Novotel Berlin Mitte was an extremely good hotel with excellent facilities and attentive staff. The rooms were spacious and beds comfortable. The location is walking distance from main sites and has an excellent supermarket around the corner. I would definitely return to this hotel

« Not worth this price »

It was my another stay in Novotel Berlin Mitte hotel. But being honest this time I need to say I am very dissapointed. For this price I could get much better standard and better service. I am Gold Accor Member and I did not expected an upgrade. However I at least expected a glass of water. Status is worth nothing. Even no "hello and welcome" from hotel stuff. 2 desk clerk availible during check in, but I waited more than 10 minutes minutes before I was served eventhough there was only one person before me. No dressing gown, paid water, etc. I should stay in Berlin for 7 nights. And instead of extending my stay in Berlin Mitte I just moved to different hotel after 2 nights. Better price, better service and the most important newer place.

Upon arrival the room’s hygiene was questionable. During my two weeks stay I opted out of room attendance and cleaned it myself in the beginning. One time I left a note at the door to let people enter as I accidentally made some dirt on the floor from my shoes. The cleaning personnel entered but didn’t clean it even though it was ok the middle of the room. Additionally even though towels were not left on the floor for change - there were more clean towels put in (which I specifically wanted to avoid hence keeping them on the hanger). Bathtub was clogged. The only thing which was positive was after requesting something to be done with my bed ( I ended up with a pinched nerve in my back from the very very soft bed) - the next day the mattress was exchanged.

Close to the Berliner Dom and nice restaurants area. Quietsand comfortable rooms for a couple stay and also families. Breakfast is quite expensive for adults and quite cheap for kids Personal form reception was no so friendly at check in, but very friendly at check out....
