« good family stay »

the hotel was good and all employees were kind, welcoming, and helpful. it wasn't as close to the city as we'd like (the walk to the bus was definitely more than 10 minutes) but the hotel's amenities made up for it. would recommend to other families who want a nice place at the end of their visit to venice!

Stayed at hotel due to cancelled flight to save heading back onto venice island Check in was quick and efficient Rooms were good size, modern decor Restaurant had menu to suit most tastes, more western style then local dishes Hotel is used by lots of coach tour groups, these did take up a lot of time for the wait staff in restaurant meaning a quick meal took a fair while. Breakfast buffet was extensive. Hotel has good facilities including pool, the area around hotel is mostly motorway, walking to local restaurants or shops will take a while unless you brave running across very busy intersection

The stuff was helpful, the room and services was comfortable. The restaurant was good but the is the recipes were a little bit limited. Actually, I enjoyed staying at the hotel, the view was nice. The only problem is, to be able to reach the hotel, you have to walk beside the cars to be able to reach the walkway to reach the hotel.

Of all Accor hotels I visited in Europe, you can look at my account because there were not a few, I'm a fan of the network, but a precarious service, a lifeless place full of strange people playing dominoes and cards, totally bad for family, full of men looking weird, a hotel with a precarious breakfast, wanted to know why it changes so much from one Novotel to another, we stayed in amazing Novotel however it has some like this one that has the very poor quality, the sector responsible for analyzing the quality is without attention It's easy, get a Novotel with very high marks and try to do the same

The hotel is well sited for access to both Mestre Station and Marco Polo Airport. The rooms are spacious and clean.

« Good, a few things could have been better »

Overall a nice stay. The rooms are clean and cosy, the cleaning ladies polite, nice and very efficient. The dinning room's decoration though was a bit "cold" The one thing i liked the less was the fact certain waiters especially for breakfast were not smiling at all, and didnt seem very concerned with customers at all.

« Comfortable room and decent breakfast »

The rooms were good, but unfortunately not adjoining (as requested and confirmed by email). Breakfast was of a good standard. However, the evening meals were not so good (sometimes slightly cold and on one occasion my wife had slight food poisoning). Additionally, service was extremely slow. Note also, that access to the local bus stop (opposite Lidl) was dangerous, due to no pathway. The staff were generally pleasant and we appreciated the kind gesture/birthday gift that the hotel gave to my wife. Thank you.

The hotel was just average, the air conditioning was not switched on and they didn’t even have a fan to give us, needless to stay we were very hot at night. The hair dryer in the toilet did not work properly and the hotel staff were polite but not really of much help. the Rooms were clean and bed comfortable but we didn’t get much sleep as even after opening the windows the room was very hot! You need to change two buses to get into Venice and often the buses won’t stop at the designated points. There is no room service or food available at night so if you need to feed your children please pick something from the Lidl nearby. Personally next time I’d much prefer to stay in the centre of Venice even if I have to pay more as this hotel wasn’t that cheap. This has put me off going to any other Novotel

It's a shame you didn't tell the reception to talk to me or to the Manager on duty about what happened during your stay. We would like to reassure you we have already put in place the necessary measures to guarantee that the standard meets your expectations. Regarding the location, it is well shown in our website, we are only 200 meter far away from the main street and the bus stop is 400 meters. The air conditioning system will be starting from the end of April. We are ready to welcoming you again upon your next stay, trying then to regain your confidence. We hope to have you again with us. « Not a very pleasant stay »

I stayed at the hotel earlier this week. It was very stuffy and hot and I repeatedly asked the management to turn on the air conditioning as my children were struggling to sleep in the night. But the hotel was unable to make the necessary arrangements and I was very disappointed. The hair dryer was also not functional and I requested a couple of times for someone to come and fix it but that also didn’t happen. There were other basic things that you expect during a hotel stay which were lacking. We had a lovely time in Venice but the hotel was a major disappointment.

The hotel is perfect but the location is not for me. Too hard to go into Venice daily. Price was right but too much efforts needed to get into town

The hotel is perfect but location is bad for me. We had to take 2 buses to get to the bus depot in Venice, and either walk half way across town or the water bus. The cost is ok but the time n efforts/bus filled, people are bouncing around, especially during weekends. I love the hotel but ....
