The first room I got was stinking of toilet smell. In the second room where I stayed had a bug in the bed. That is why I checked out the next morning instead of staying 2 nights.

This was a one night stop on the 4th floor in a corner roon with upper bedroom. Roon was to the usual high standard, but being outstide the stair well and lift I had constant noise till about 03.00 in the morning. I think the issue was with the coach party that night.

This is a fair Novotel hotel. Location was perfect for me. Parking was easy (free of charge outdoor). Room was very large (mezzanine suite), but with quite old Novotel style. However, furniture was found in good state. Equipment was in good state as well. Two TV sets in this room, but I would rather just one, a bit bigger! Breakfast is excellent with various choices. Diner was good to. Choice of local red wines was a bit short and not very descriptive (Merlot or Cabernet). English is well spoken by the nice staff, with the little exception of one young person (with no issue anyway). I will come back.

It's strange if the Bar guy takes a letter and holds it under the light to try to read what's in. Hope that was not the letter of a guest. The other bar guy lookes videos via phone, not a problem at all, because all my wishes were fullfilled, but next time he should lower the volume of the video.

« Staff were friendly, the breakfast was good and the rooms were nice. »

You didn't receive a 10 because sometimes my room was not properly cleaned or changed. A few examples: the waste basket items were left on a table, coffee wasn't replaced, bathroom floors somewhat cleaned but a sticky residue remained for a number of hours and the bathroom supplies - shampoo, hair cream rinse and shower gel were not replaced. At one point, I went down to the office to change out 6 shower gels and no hair cream rinse or shampoo.
