We could not check-in before 15:00 on our arrival day, we needed to come down to the front-desk to receive our complimentary dental-kit around 22:00 in the evening (even though we were already undressed), the housekeeping maid ignored the "do not disturb" on our departure day and understood neither Polish nor English.

« Staff need training »

It is very hard to get through to the reception from your room, if you need anything. Staff in this hotel put you on hold or simply cut you off if you ring reception from your room. After ringing from the room and I went to reception to check why I am not getting through and discover that the staff took the phone off the hook. Lady with blond hair in the resturtant is very stiff and uptight. This is the only place I have been where cheese platter does not come with cracker/anything to eat with.

« Nice room, but service not Novotel-standard »

The hotel is a combined IBIS and Novotel, which I never have experienced before. Common areas are mutual for both the brands. The room was very comfortable, good size and nicely furbished. Bed very comfortable. Bathroom modern and well planned. Everything very clean and sober. Also the wiew from floor 15 was great. But the isolation was not good. You could hear what the people in the room next door was saying aswell as every noise from the hallway, since the door was not isolated. Also the tram on the street below made more noise than you could imagine (even though the hotel could not do anything about that). The worst thing was really the service. The first day after arrival I came back to my room at 5.15 pm, and the room was still not serviced. The day after that the room had been serviced when I returned in the afternoon, but they had not refilled shower-gel and shampoo. So I went down to reception asking for more. After being away returning to the room more than four hours later there still was no shower-gel and shampoo, so I had to go down to reception and complain. Then I got some more. For me that is not Novotel-standard, and I was really surprised.

Every aspect about our brief stay at Novotel Centrum went extremely smoothly and we were all able to relax. Our only suggestion would be for more sachets of black tea in the room for British guests

As mentioned, generally good level of service, staff very helpful extremely, good breakfast . One minor issue, the bed was very comfortable, however he bottom sheet was not a 'fitted sheet' and too small to fold under the mattress so as a result came loose each night.

Newly modernized hotel with excellent location close to the old city and to business center of the city. Very good price to quality ratio. Opposite to the hotel large and nicely furnished shopping center with garage parking available for the hotel guests.

Nice room and great staff but the wind was so strong outside my window that it was whistling loudly all night...in fact k had to open the window every couple of hours to stop the build up. It must happen a lot.

I am confused - is it Ibis or Novotel? Why do I need to pay 4 star price if I am served the 3 star hotel breakfast? Also the cleaning room service was really not good - they were leaving my room not entirely clean.

For me it is unacceptable that your reception did not transfer a call from my husband to my room. You have rules of that, your receptionist told me - if so, you should inform your guests beforehand. Really a bad experience.
