I booked one night. As I arrived, i saw a old Hotel with a nice Location. The staff at the Reception was friendly. I get an upgrade to a room in the highest Floor. So far, so good. As I arrived in the room, the blanket was dirty. I called the Reception and they send me the house keeping. The Lady get the blanket and i heard nothing during the next 30 minutes. Under the blanket, on the matress there was a lot of Long black hairs...disgusting! After my call at the Reception they told me that i have to change the room and the house keeping is Controlling the new one. I come the the new room, checked the bed and was shocked. There was a lot of black hairs on the pillow and on the blanked. I called the Reception again...they controlled and checked nothing! I cabged now the room from the 7th Floor to the 4th Floor. This room was nearly clean. I travel a lot, but I never saw such kind of dirtyness. That was the reason i canceld the second night.

We had a very enjoyable stay thanks to the wonderful staff of the Hotel. The Hotel also offers a wonderful authentic atmosphere of the Tatra Mountain region, from the moment you enter the main lounge. Excellent location for skiing as the ski lift is next to the Hotel and the Hotel is also very close to Gubalowka and the main promenade Krupowki. Additionally, the hotel offers a Mercure Shuttle from the hotel to the city center, main train/bus station, various other tourist locations and Kasprowy Wierch. The main restaurant Grand Kasprowy is beyond excellent. The chef prepares a delicious Rib Eye Steak 500g cooked to order and to specification. Everything ordered was absolutely delicious, the Prawns, the Spaghetti Carbonara, the apple pie. It was all presented well and tasted delicious. Excellent servers and wait staff also. Very experienced and professional. The restaurant has sweeping views of the mountains. One mistake of mine was misunderstanding the room types when I made my reservation. I strongly recommend everyone and anyone books a Deluxe room with the view of the Tatra Mountains. I do not recommend the standard or superior rooms, even with the view. The hotel is renovating their guestrooms but still has not completed all rooms. This was the only downside to our stay. However, this was my fault for booking the wrong room type. Most Mercure Hotels have two room types, Standard and Privileged but this Hotel offers many different options. Regardless of this, everything else was wonderful. The Hotel even offers cinema night and has a fantastic Spa & Wellness center along with pool.

Very good service, delicious meals with great choice, many attractions for children, good starting point to the mountain trips but peaceful and quite location with amazing view over Tatra mountains. Geothermal swimming pool nearby -aditional attraction.

No complaints with the room; it was excellent with a great view. I removed 3 stars because of construction noise in one of the mornings. Construction workers could have waited till noon to start making loud noises. The buffet breakfast was also very good. Hotel staff was very helpful during check-in and customer support lady was very helpful in giving tips on where to hike, eat, and how to get around.

Overall ok stay. I had standard room and it's comfortable but not really nice - it's just old and has no atmosphere - that would be good but 20 years ago - now even simple private rooms are more cosy. Maybe the other rooms are better (at least they look better in hotel folder). There is plenty of space to park a car but it is paid (in my opinion should be free for hotel guests). Restaurant is nice a with good food, lobby and reception area also with beatiful decor. Staff ok, doing their job but without going behind towards more positive attitude. I may give this hotel a try again but with booking better room (or being upgraded when my status is changed).

Very nice location of the hotel, with the view of tatra mountains and just next to ski line on Szymoszkowa. Hotel is nicely equipped, renovated in the folcroric design, giving the mountain (góralską) atmosphere. The variety of food on bufet breakfast should satisfy various preferencess, both for main dishes, as well as fruit and vegetables. Restaurant serves delishious disches, but with small choice of fresh prepared on show cooking place.

Nice stay, spacious apartment, although the summers are already long past. Retro decor compensates window view, the helpful staff, amazing location of the hotel, excellent breakfasts and room rate promotion. I will definitely stay here again during my next stay in Zakopane, although I will rather choose one of the renovated rooms.

We arrived on sunday to the impression that we got the two worst rooms in the hotel. Extremely far from each other and obviously unwelcoming/. One of them was near a machine room. and its sound did not stop during the night.

Good but rather expensive parking situation for an outdoor parking lot. Very friendly and professional desk personnel. Open areas clean and designwise "fresh" for the eyes. Bar could be open longer than 11 pm. Friendly staff. Great terrace. Our room 135 was clean. One waterspot on a wall. And some black dust from old television behind the new flatscreen. Checkout: perfectly cooperative and friendly.

A great welcome and a fruit package waiting for me in the room. The staff were very helpful. I was very helpful in late checkout. The minibus is right next to the cable car to Kasprowy wierch. Breakfast was a great choice of meals. A heated indoor pool and a dry sauna are included in the room rate. Beautiful.

I had problems in my room which I complained about every day but nothing was done. I sustained an injury because of my leaky shower making the floor wet & slippery. Reception staff just shrugged their shoulders and made empty promises. I have written an email of complaint but just received the standard reply! None of our rooms saw a cleaner for the duration of our trip (5 days)!

We booked a 3 night break through the Accor Le Club loyalty membership site for my wife's birthday and to soak up the typical pre Christmas atmosphere. what a bad mistake this was. the hotel rooms are terrible and in dire need of refurbishment. the wallpaper was grubby and the room felt dirty. there was building work taking place of which we were not pre warned of. On day of arrival we (4 adults) stood at reception with luggage and were totally ignored by staff on the desk who were talking amongst themselves and totally oblivious to us being there to check in. finally i was greeted with a stern YES. wow what a welcome. the reception area and public spaces were taken over by all of this on day 2 as the conference started and desks were placed in the main public area for people to register, along with large advertising boards. we ate breakfast the first morning which was ok but on day 2 we were told this would be held downstairs and to our horror we were sat with all the conference delegates in one large room. it was a scrum to get anywhere near the food and one can only compare it to a feeding frenzy at the zoo. ot was obvious the conference was priority as this was big money and other guests were forgotten about. the staff on reception had no idea of how to speak to guests. each time i approached the desk it was a case of YES. no good morning or can i help you sir. I speak a little Polish but they all spoke perfect English and understood. i would have liked to have been given the oppurtuinty to share my views on check out but i was not once asked if everything was alright or if we enjoyed our stay. instead i decided it would have been a waste and would rather do my own review so others can make their own decisions. the hotel could be a great place and i called in to it over 15 years ago for a meal and drink and thought one day i would like to stay, hence the reason for choosing. it is a taxi ride to the centre but with 4 of us it worked out at £1 each or 20 Zloty. with refurbished rooms and staff training it could be a lovely place but for now there are numerous other hotels in town cheaper and better, and I for one will not consider staying here again any time soon.

very nice, pleasant stay, bit too short but we will catch up next time. Our room has been refreshed recently, only a balcony is still bit old fashioned (like some others areas of the hotel like a bar terrace and shower area at a swimming pool; I hope the changes will be progressing).

hotel really needs refurbishing - rooms, especially bathrooms are terrible - in mine tiles on the floor we broken and falling apart. really good food and great overall program for kids
