We had a wonderful stay at the Malpensa Novotel hotel. The restaurant staff was beyond excellent in service, and the food was delicious. The bar was a disappointment, but that was just due to the attitude of the particular bar tender who was working that night. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean and had a large bathroom. We didn’t understand that you had to reserve the shuttle to the airport in advance, but the desk staff was helpful in finding additional spots on the shuttle with the nearby Ibis hotel. Great experience overall.

Hotel was fine. Had an injured knee while visiting Italy had requested extra pillows to support my knee during the night. Never recieved them.

in general tis hotel is ok for a short stay near airport. I understand that it is not easy to manage with nearby daily changes of guests all over the day. Housekeeping is good but sometimes little things fail. I address this to the supervising by management. a cleaning of the coffee machine from remaining stay would be nice. I booked a executive room - but the room was equiped as a standard room. after claiming I received finally a bottle of water etc that is clearly a missing supervising

Nice hotel very close to the airport. But you do need GPS to find it as it is tucked away in a side street with little signage. Very moern with good facilities, breakfast is very good and value for money. It has a pool and a nice bar.

We stayed here due to proximity to Milan Airport. Unfortunately that is the only thing going for it. As other reviewers have found, the rooms & public areas are not clean or properly maintained and equipment in the rooms does not function. Our experiences were also bad & we observed other customers with similar problems during our stay. So what were our specific problems? When we arrived at our room, we found that the bathroom had not been cleaned. Pubic hair - not ours - decorated the bidet, toilet, shower and floor. Someone, presumably male - had urinated but missed the toilet leaving stains on the floor - and god knows what the hand/fingerprints on the flushing mechanism were from. Not to mention used tissues in the bin. We asked reception for someone to clean the bathroom and went for a walk. When we returned 1 hour or more afterwards, nothing had been done. We again contacted reception and a maintenance man arrived who picked up lots of the hair and the tissues and left - no actual cleaning took place. I hate walking on a sticky (pissy) floor. We tried to use the television in the room but despite a red light showing it steadfastly refused to work. After a change of batteries for the remote, it still didn't work. Reception office staff were eventually able to get it going. The next day we left early in the morning to visit the city and when we returned in the evening the room had not been serviced - again. We used the swimming pool at the hotel. Our presence was an obvious nuisance to the "lifeguard" (who provided towels) because we forced him to look up,al from his mobile phone. If he was so bored, why could he not vacuum some of the rubbish from the bottom of the pool or clean the algae from the green wall? The room had a safe. No matter what we tried it would not work. The room had a fridge. Drinks were actually cooler if you left them out of the fridge under the airconditioning outlet. The carpets in the halls were badly stained and not vacuumed. We stay on average 70 nights a year in hotels and most of those with Accor. This is the first Accor hotel where we have actually been upset at the standard of the property and the lack of response. As stated before, read the other reviews - unfortunately ours is not an isolated experience. I pity the poor front desk staff who have to deal with the ongoing customer complaints. There is clearly a failure of management to instil an appropriate attitude in support staff - they clearly just don't care

Got 2 rooms, checked in around midnight, bathroom was dirty, walls in room was dirty, everything was outdated, couldn't sleep for anything in the world bc I was so uncomfortable so I went to sleep in the car along with my son. My daughter and niece stayed in their room until we checked out at 5am. Worst hotel I ever stayed in.

« This is a nice hotel, very convenient. »

The staff was great. I love the room and the pool. I stayed 2x this year. I prefer the hotel near the airport to staying in Milano. However I’m really concerned about the foul smell in the bathroom sinks. When you turn on the sink in the bathroom the water smells like a sewer. This was the case in both rooms I stayed in. It was so bad I brushed my teeth with bottled water. I reported it to management. I thought it was just that particular room but the same thing happened when I stayed in a different room 2 weeks later.

We arrived at the hotel after 9:00pm and the room was not ready. I have never experienced that in my life. When I asked how that was possible when check-out is 12 noon, the front desk person told me there was a crew that was in the room and it was not her fault. The hotel must book the rooms to flight crews during the day, however, I made a reservation and check in is 2:00pm! The reservation said the room came with bathrobe and slippers but there were none in the room. There was also no wash clothes.

We travel Europe for 45 days stay in many Hotel’s (includes Novotel in other cities), This one the last stay of our vacation. From desk super Rude!!!! Room was Old, dated, dirty, looks like hostel room in a third world country (can just imagine), bathroom door won’t closed (we are a couple plus 2 little girls....), Disgusting Hotel and staff. Restaurant, Don’t even think about trying, they Don’t cook anything there, it’s all ready Supermarkets ready food, warming it in the back out of sight, and fix it nice on a plate . Even the pasta, it’s ready pasta. And for that they are charging a high end restaurant price..... you won’t believe it until you see it!!!!

The cleaning of the toilet was not satisfactory, the bath tube was plugged. During the breakfast the meal for my son of 5 y.o. was not offered, even after I've asked the bar tender. Complaining done during the checkout.
