The hotel room was very clean and the breakfast was amazing. I was only missing a pool outside - for a very hot day in Sao Paulo an indoor pool is not really a good option.

Satisfactory stay. Could have stayed on the upper floors as there was noise from the street. I was at 1015 room. I asked to have my Accord membership number for points, I was told I cannot. The agent reserve my room through a web site, I wished I know, dissapointed as I had stayed at Pamplona and other Mercure and I did not have this issue. Explained to the lady at the front desk, but she repeated cannot it is the policy. Even when I let her know that I choose Mercure each time I visit SP and I am fan of Accord....

« Disappointed, fair service but poor quality of rooms »

I stayed at this hotel three times during one week in different days while I was touring Brazil on a business tripZ My first check in was at 3am and the service was fast and efficient My second check in was at 8pm and the process was fast and efficient The third time I checked in was at 3pm and it took me 20 minutes to go through the process. I stayed at this hotel earlier this year and my experience was much better. My main issues are with the rooms, the rest of the hotel is fine and in general the staff is very friendly and efficient. The problems I experienced at the THREE rooms I stayed in are: - no electric plugs to connect my outlets. Guests have to disconnect lamps or tv in order to connect the mobile or computer. No connections available at the working desk - the desk phone does not work - the bed table phone works but the buttons for fast dialing (room service, front desk..) are not programmed - the stand lamp next to the window has no turn-on-off button. No way to turn it on. When trying to turn it on I could see that the lamp wasn’t very clean - room is too dark to be able to work - internet was terrible I think the hotel could be much better if room inspections were done. Finally I have to mention that during my last night on Nov 30 I had issues with the safe box. The team at the front desk was extremely helpful and they saved my trip.

I had a good experience. The rooms were nice and the location was good for us. I did notice that we didn't have any small wash cloths, but that was not a big problem.

« I expected much more from Mercure... »

Good: location and breakfast Bad: - Room is spacious but pretty old and not well maintained - Phone in the room wasn't working (repaired then) - Bed lamps not working - Boiler not working - Shower very difficult to properly use (always too hot or too cold) - Room didn't get cleaned up to 4pm in the first day when we were already back and needed it - Too much noise coming from the street outside - I felt very sick and asked for a thermometer for my fever: they didn't have it (lost it) and promised to call my room and bring it when available (they didn't) - I sent my suit to the laundry and it got back worse than how it was (and it was also 1 hour late)

« Great Location, good facilities but disappointing service from several staff members »

Booked the hotel as me and my friends were going to the Formula one at Interlagos. I booked this particular hotel as it was part of the Accor group and therefore expected the usual same standards as I am used to from Accor in Europe but this wasn't the case. The good points: Location and hotel facilities. The bad: 1) I had checked in online to save time on checking in as I normally do but on arrival the night porter had ignored this fact and requested I fill out the exact same information. 2) Bearing in mind my booking was made months ago and I had added comments to my initial booking request then on the Check in, these were ignored or at least that was the impression I had given they were ignored. 3) It should have been obvious from my booking that I am an Accor Platinum member but I wasnt given 'my welcome drink voucher' and had to request these. 4) I sent the hotel an email to request information about a local football game and whether the hotel had any contacts to obtain tickets but this was ignored and received no response. 5) Hotel Room safe. This didnt work and we spent the first night without this. We were on first name terms with Maintenance as he came to the room 3 times over the 3 nights we were there. Not a great start when you have to wait in to have the safe reset. 6) The biggest issue I had was with our room security as the lock on the door didnt work and we didnt notice until the second day. Even with the deadbolt on anyone could just open the door without a key from the outsite. Again we had to wait for maintence to come and change the batteries in the door. This should never happen. 7) Inconsistency with Breakfast. We were at the Grand Prix and on trips and left early each day. We had paid for breakfast and on 2/3 nights we were able to have breakfast to takeaway, bearing in mind we just had a couple of coissants and a piece of cake. The last day our tour arrived an hour early and we didnt have time to eat in but we were then told we couldnt take anything away, despite this been fine for the 2 days previous. (I appreciate that this may not be the normal approach but we had paid for it and we're only after a minimal amount). 8) Late check out request - Again ignored from my check in requests then told I wasnt entitled to it by reception staff and could only have the room until 2pm. Eventually got them to extend to 3pm. 9) On check out, something you always expect from any hotel is to be asked whether you had a nice stay? Not here 8)
