« Terrible expirence »

One of the worse hotel stays I have ever experienced. Poor maintenance and terrible customer service. We were stuck in the hotel elevator for 40 minutes with no assistance from hotel staff. We were able to open the doors and jump from the elevators.

« Nice experience in a nice hotel »

The hotel is really good and well located. My room was spacious, clean, with a king bed. The only reason not to rate 10: in the room almost has no electrical outlets. Considering that each person carries with him/her at least one cell phone, one would expect to find easily accessible sockets at the head of the bed or at the desk, for example.

« Extremely disappointing and will not stay here again »

The hotel accommodations were mediocre, the staff was unhelpful and oftentimes rude. The elevator malfunctioned while I was staying at the hotel and myself and 4 others (including a small child) were stuck on the elevator for 40 minutes. The staff did a TERRIBLE job of communicating with us while we were stuck and were not able to remedy the issue. We had to pry open both sets of doors and jump out of the elevator. It was a terrifying experience that should have been taken care of immediately. They did not have the appropriate staff on hand to help and the staff was extremely rude following the incident. I understand that maintenance issues happen, however the way in which it was handled was inexcusable.

« Nice small hotel for business trip »

The hotel had fairly good amenities, and the room was spacious and tastefully furnished. The restaurant offered wide selection for breakfast and excellent coffee choices. I was particularly impressed that there was a kitchen staff who was constantly taking samples of the food to check out the quality. However, I was disappointed that no change in the main breakfast food items. By the 3rd breakfast, I was not enjoying it as much. Over-all, am very happy with my stay.

« Hotel is fine, needs heat. »

Everything was fine with the exception of no heating in the room. The fact that the temperature control in the room has a heat setting creates confusion. Had I known there was no heating, I wouldn't have stayed in this hotel.

« Disappointed »

Check in was extremely slow specially after a 24 hour flight, they didn’t give us the room at noon cause we haven’t checked in online. That being over the room was old and bathroom dirty we changed room thank god for that. My daughter was joining after two days , again slow check in and so much confusion about who is who. Finally we were labels as blond and brunette which I found very discriminating . I stayed in Novotel New York and Mercure Paris . But Sami Paulo was an experience not to be done again. We came to rio but going back to São Paulo we booked another hotel

« Good location. »

The staying was good and the personnel was behaving according to the Accord standards. The facility is not that new but still very nice. The pool is okay, the sauna and the couple of machines for fitness available are in good state. As platinum guests we received some treats. Free water. The neighborhood seemed fairly safe. Close to AV. Paulista, stores, gym, and restaurants and bars. The view from our floor (12) was good, not spectacular but still nice. I would still go back.
