Room was clean and comfortable. Check in process was hassle free and staff were friendly. Hotel buffet was reasonably priced for the selection available. Some of the meats were a bit over cooked though.

I love about the room cleaning. They change the towel for me everyday and fill up the shampoo or shower gel if it run out. The breakfast is nice and variety. The hotel is quiet secure and safe.

This was our fifth stay at the Novotel Century Hong Kong. We love the location of the ho5el and it is close to MTR and Wanchai Star Ferry. Very much appreciated the room upgrade given to us at chick-in. We dined in a lot this time and thoroughly enjoyed our meals in the hotel. The staff are very accommodating and anxious to please as always. Check-in was online and check-out was very smooth. The riots and protests have changed the nature and feel of Hong Kong but the Novotel remains the same. If we return we will be sure to come back here a sixth time.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Novotel Hong Kong Century, however, it would have been nice to be able to change our bookings with your city company Novotel City Gate. We had requested to transfer bookings from City Gate to Century but wasn't able to do so - flexibility would have been nice.

Was a very quick, but enjoyable stay. I found the team in AK’s bar and also reception/concierge very helpful, particularly with information around travel with planned disruptions at airport. The offer of a late checkout was appreciated, but ended up not needing, thankyou all the same. The only negative was the overnight R/S burger, the burger itself was cold as though just out of the fridge and slightly warmed, and the bun was cold and damp. Was hungry after being out all day, and ate some of it before it was just too bad to eat, chips were hot and obviously fresh though.

Good stay. Generally was ok, didn't have much of view compared to what was advertised on the website but employees were helpful with needing to print some things. Was in a perfect location for where I needed to be, which was generally the convention centre.

Overall had a very good experience. Hotel is centrally located and rooms are a good size. Staff were friendly and helpful. Club access was well worth it. Only minor nuisances kept from scoring higher, such as not having hand sanitiser in dispensers around hotel and cold food being served in club lounge.

Everything is great. Just wish the tub was wider. A little smaller then the North American versions. The other thing is water. Did not see any water filling stations in the Hotel.

As stated above we were overall quite satisfied . We both thought that the club lounge was rather disappointing compared to others that we have used . The staff were very helpful ,attentive and friendly and we have no complaints there but some of the seating in the lounge was most uncomfortable and overall the choice and quality of the snacks was rather disappointing . This was a surprise because the breakfast buffet and the restaurant meals were very good. We found the meals and drinks rather expensive but this was the same all over Hong Kong . We have been coming to Hong Kong regularly since 1982 and now find it to be one of the most expensive places in the world to visit . We have never found it as quiet as we did this visit and think that although the disturbances obviously have something to do with this the high prices do not help , indeed we spoke to other visitors who thought the same as us and would think twice before returning for another holiday .

I was booked to stay three nights; I have stayed at the hotel previously on regular trips to HK> During the first night of my stay, I was informed of a family death in Sydney, requiring me to return to Australia urgently. At check out, I informed the receptionist of the circumstances. I was offered no help or understanding but just told that I could not get a refund for the unused nights. I have been an Accor member on and off over many years and this was a very disappointing response.

I am an examiner who took ilets exam on 24th August. Your check out time is really reasonable I mean I need to check out of the hotel before 12 o'clock. However, my writing exam finished at 12:35 and I was the first one to take my speak test, hence, I did not have time to check out in time. And I told your receptionists that could I check out a little bit late, they said no and required me to pay half of the one-day fee of hotel which really made me felt disappointed. I really hope you can adjust your check out time especially for examiners.

« 48 hour stopover from Australia to Europe »

In a word: excellent. The booking was made as an Accor member. We had a 48 hour stopover en route to Europe, arriving mid evening. We had booked a shuttle bus with the hotel two weeks prior to arrival and were taken from the arrivals hall at the airport to the shuttle, which took a bit over an hour. We had a Premier access booking which for the lounge on floor 23 for breakfast, afternoon tea; and evening drinks including some canapés. The views to the harbour were very good and it is quite an intimate atmosphere. There was also the option to have breakfast on the first floor in the restaurant which we used on the second morning. The range of options was greater here; so it was good to have tried both locations. We were also able to check out from the Premier floor on departure and have the evening drink and food prior to leaving for a night flight. We had an extended stay until 6pm in our room for an extra fee - booked prior to arrival and advised it was our wedding anniversary for which the hotel gave us a bottle of red wine and a card - much appreciated. We used the concierge desk to book an early evening harbour cruise which was most enjoyable. The hotel ordered a taxi for us on departure and it was the same price as two people getting the shuttle - so that could be a consideration for other travellers on arrival too. It was a great first leg of a long planned overseas vacation.
