Great experience, however, I booked for 3 people and there was only one bed in the room... We had to call the reception and insist on having another bed, so a matress was delivered to us...I did not expect to have someone sleeping on the floor in a hotel where I booked a room for 3 people. Other than that, everything was fine. Thanks for asking.

The location and layout of this hotel are very good. Rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable. Room furnishings are in good condition. Beds are good. Bathrooms are great. The staff is helpful and excellent, particularly Eliene who made up our rooms every day. She's wonderful. She remembered us from prior stays at the property, and is consistently helpful and kind.That said, the property is showing its age. Hallway carpets are discolored and frayed. Some of the wood trim, particularly in the hallways, is scraped and scratched. At least the key slots in the elevators, always broken in the past, have been replaced with new units.We always stay at this property when we are in BH. It suits us best. We are confident economic recovery in Brasil will allow for some remodeling and renovation at the hotel. Remodeled or not, we will continue to stay at the property when we are in BH.

This was my first time in Brasil so some of the security based procedures and the high level of bureaucracy were new to me. I found the overall experience fine and effective for my work related trip to BH but lacking any memorable value adds or the service level I am more familiar with in other Accor hotels.
