We were wandering around Changi after a short visit to Jewel, looking for the shuttle bus to Grand Mercure Roxy. The shuttle bus was not easy to find. After few times asking many information counter finally we found the shuttle bus point. A western tourist also confused & asked me about the shuttle. He was glad that we were waiting at the right spot. About the room, it was big & clean. That’s why i came back to stay here again. I was surprised with the free comfy extra bed, prepared just for my kids. Thanks Grand Mercure Roxy. The morning shuttle service was full. I know it was based on first-come, first-served. We couldn’t come earlier to concierge because we checked in late at 10pm. Our advice for this disappointment, during the peak hour, like early morning where many guests needs to go to airport for early flight, i think hotel should provide bigger shuttle bus or more frequent transportation during certain time. I’ve stayed in other Accor hotel in Jakarta which provided shuttle service to airport like G.Mercure Roxy. They provided bigger bus when the demand was high. The free shuttle service especially early morning, is one of the reason why i booked this hotel. Hope this review helps to improve. Thanks again.

Spent one night at Grand Mercure Singapore Roxy en route to Europe. Shuttle bus from/to airport a definite plus. Complimentary mobile phone in room and late check the following day were also appreciated. Mobile phone did not work on return to hotel (6th to 7th July 2019). Was assured by reception staff that the problem would be addressed. Unfortunately, this did not happen.

Positive - Room, appointment, Hotel layout and swimming pool are overall very good/ Booking - I opted to book directly using the link provided on the webpage ("H3…"). The quality of service, response times and general poor level of English was appalling. The booking took multiple attempts, clarifications and repeats on information. After all that effort they still got it wrong! Check-In - was probably the worst I have experienced in recent history. Whilst I have sympathy for the staff member assisting, as she had 'I am learning on her shirt', I had to endure a 25-30 minute check-in - all whilst having 1 x wife + 4 x kids siting at 8.00pm at night after a 12 hour flight. What was particularly disappointing was that the more senior staff, and what appeared to be a manager, could see the distress and neither of them intervened to assist. It was the worst have seen and I travel a lot! Room Setup - we booked 2 x adjoining rooms to accommodate a total of 6 (2 x adults + 4 x kids). Upon arrival nothing had been setup. It took another 2 hours and four attempts to get the room properly configured for an additional roll away bed in each room. After the third attempt I had to ask to see the manager as I was getting no where with reception. Whilst the on duty manager (Anthony ??) managed to finally resolved the issue I was NOT particularly impressed as to how he dealt with me personally. I have been a customer directly and indirectly (staff) with the Roxy Mecure for 5+ years - the quality of check-in, duty manger and booking service has definitely deteriorated I am sorry to say.

At check in, all aspects of our stay were sorted out, right down to the shuttle bus time we were to leave. The breakfasts were superb and the earlier time of 6am start is a plus, even though we are later. The room was meticulous. Thank you .

This was a good hotel for transiting in Singapore, about half way between the airport and the city.. Rooms are big, bed comfy and nice swimming pool. Things that may need improvement were: slow service at the bar/restaurant, 2 taxes on top of the menu prices (however there was a small discount on the food part), hotel charges for ordering a taxi and it took 10 days to receive our funds back that were blocked on our credit card as a check-in deposit. Also, there was some strange noise late evening behind the walls, maybe air conditioning system? but it didn’t keep us from sleeping.. Overall good stay for us who were in transit for 15 hours.
