« Short Stay in Singapore »

A stay over two periods, but interesting to see the difference. The first time I took the opportunity to upgrade (at my cost) but it was not worth it (no real benefit for the upgrade), so opted not to for the second stay. Rooms are a little tired now and possibly need some work. Neighbours can be very noisy in the middle of the night, not the hotel's fault but shows the lack of sound proofing in the hotel. Breez Bistro Bar has a happy hour but I am suspicious that the glass size does change for this, and the price was higher than advertised, and no attempt to refund to look after the customer, just complained that management had not changed the advertised price when they were asked to. An average stay, and a little disappointing as I have stayed in a number of Mercure hotels. The staff (concierge and floor staff) were excellent, so that was appreciated!

Room nice clean and tidy and provided me with everything I needed. Staff friendly and polite; I'd like to give special mention to Eddie in the bar who as always was great and also Faran in the breakfast area. Both made the stay that extra special and I look forward to seeing them again in the future.

« Another great stay at Singapore Roxy »

We have stayed at this hotel quite a few times & the service is always excellent. Once again check in was a breeze & we were able to access our room early which was appreciated after a long flight. The location is very convenient with a large shopping complex and newly re-opened Hawkers centre across the road. The city is a short distance by taxi or Metro and the East Coast parkway a short walk. If you can, try and book the executive rooms. We had one on the 17th floor & the view from the executive lounge is great, whilst the breakfast & evening cocktail service is very relaxing. The airport shuttle bus provided by the hotel is another great service offered, delivering you to T1, T2 or T3. I would recommend this hotel for all travellers

The room was spacious which i like and generally clean. The hotel mobile phone was also a bonus as it was convenient for being from a foreign country. I just wish my country was also listed in the list of countries you can call using the mobile phone.

I am very satisfied. Tha staffs are accomodating. The food (breakfast) was all tastes good and there were variety of food to choose from. The room were always clean and comfy. I would suggest to have a bidet in the toilet room or at least dipper/pitcher so that guests can easily wash their bottom/genital region. But in all, the service is good. Keep it up.

Mercure Roxy Hotel - East Coast Road, in area with lots of history and close to good shopping centre. 15 minutes to Changi Airport. Good quality rooms, pool, dining, laundry facilities self serve for guests. Nice view from rooms. Club Lounge rooms excellent quality

There was a flight delay for more than 10 hours, but the management has prepared a hotel room for my wife and I with complimentary buffet dinner. The room is very spacious and clean, the service counter also called up to inform us on the flight status. the food is also good. Thanks.

Generally, my experience with Roxy was quite good. The staff were very polite and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. The position is good to go to other attractions, and to the airport. The cleaning staff did their job well. However, with these feedbacks below if you could make a change then I think the experience of customers will be better: 1. The bathtub drain stopper in my room did not work (room 639) 2. It was VERY cold in the hotel. I did not turn on the conditioner in my room for the whole 5 days I stayed at the hotel however my entire body got goosebumps all the time. 3. The toilet in my room smelled foul all the time.
