« Second stay just as good. »

This is my second stay. I gave five stars in my first so expectations were high. They met my expectations. Free bus from airport. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Room very good (especially for the price) though the bathrooms are due for updating. Breakfast up to a high standard. Only issues I have is the area for outer Singapore, especially while work for new MRT is being done. When MRT is available the position will be much better. Highly recommended.

Wow pleasantly surprised with this unassuming hotel. From the outside it doesn't look like much but it has many hidden talents. It is not a luxury hotel but in terms of comfort it checks off all the boxes - comfortable rooms, lovely staff, good amenities (swimming pool, gym etc). We stayed at the hotel on our way transiting through Singapore and to celebrate a family celebration. The staff gave us a celebration drink in our room with a greeting card signed off by all the staff. Very nice welcome! Thank you Mercure Roxy! But on to it's hidden talents: (1) Regular complimentary shuttle bus to and from the airport! Shuttle buses run every hour to T1, T2 and T3 (but not T4 yet). You can save a packet on taxi fares and the shuttle bus is fast... This is a direct shuttle bus that only goes between this hotel and the airport, and does not service any other hotel! (2) Cheap local hawker food nearby. Like super cheap. Like one third the price you would pay compared to the hawker food in the city. Head to the residential housing estates to the look for the local hawker food. Also near to the local legend Katong Laksa coffee shops. (3) Nearby to several banks including HSBC, Citibank, OCBC and Maybank. And nearby to major shopping malls Parkway Parade and 112 Katong. (4) Near to the East Coast Park. East Coast Park is a long stretch of beach along the east coast which runs for several km and lined with cafes, restaurants, yoga clubs etc. It is frequented by the locals and has less tourists than Sentosa but far more convenient than Sentosa. You can start your day with a stroll on the beach and still get to the city quickly to work and make it back to end the day with a roller blade in the park. Cool When it comes to Singapore, there are few hotels like this. The hotels are either in the City, Orchard road shopping district, Sentosa island (which is a bit secluded and limits you to just the island), or the suburbs (which have no beach). Mercure Roxy has become for me an unsung hero and I am considering to make it my new go-to hotel when I am in Singapore... Especially since the room rates are typically half the city rates!

« Nice hotel »

Handy hotel with a free shuttle to and from the airport. Good sized rooms. Opposite one of the larger malls and a few minutes walk from East Coast Park. A good option if you do not need to be right in the downtown area. Has a handy cafe plus a bistro near the pool in addition to the more formal restaurants. Thanks for the service from Fagan, Samantha, Josephine and Graezi in Breeze Bistro and Anne in Waves cafe. Only minor downside is the construction for a new MRT line outside, which will be a major plus when completed in 2023. Cannot wait for that as it will make this hotel very convenient to everything.

very clean hotel ,rooms large and clean,may not suit elderly due to the shower inside the bath tub dont know if all the rooms are the same,the breakfast very good selection but can be very crowded with certain people hanging about the tea and coffee area which they dont need to be, cant fault the staff which are very good and helpful , would recommend this hotel.peter

It was my second staycation at this hotel, and its always feel so comfort. The room is large and clean. Check in and check out process were fast and the front desk was helpful when I ask about taxi to airport becuase my flight was at early morning. The shuttle from the hotel unfortunately haven't operated yet at that time. So hopefully in the future the shuttle will operated earlier, like 5 AM maybe. ^^ Thank you.

Very nice hotel and staff. Hotel upgraded my room to be Junior Suit, bigger space, not far from lift and manager himself took us to our room. I can also enjoy Executive Lounge and Welcome drink. They gave me Baileys for free, even though staff said it was not include in my welcome drink voucher. Keep the great job!

« my roxy revival »

my mother used to bring us for staycations in Singapore every now and then as she was a hotelier with Accor -so Roxy was one of the hotels we always stayed in. we have since grown up and she has since passed-away. Roxy always reminds us of her and it was heartwarming to be back. this revisit was excellent, beyond expectations and we love how beautifully the hotel has been refurbished to meet with the hospitality industry's aesthetics of today.

It was a pleasant experience having to stay again in the hotel to rejuvenate and experience the tranquility of the hotel atmosphere. The staff were friendly and I am happy to be receiving complimentary drinks. I hope that the Halal restaurant would offer a special price for me/my family as the hotel guest. Room is kept at optimal and splendid condition. Kudos to Mercure Roxy staff.

Always a delight to return to this gem in the eastern part of Singapore. Check-in was speedy and I was welcomed by Alan. He's one manager who has a heart for service - he remembers my preferences so it's like home-coming every stay in this Accor property. Breakfast was good with a good range of options. Enjoyed hi-tea at Feast at East, which serves good Peranakan cuisine. Evening lounge service was lovely as always. A suggestion though - to have healthier choice drink options in the mini bar at the lounge (e.g. sugar-free coke).

« Efficient service »

We checked in past midnight due to our late flight. I would like to highlight both Haz's prompt assistance as we exchanged emails prior arrival, and Hefeng's efficiency upon check in. It was sooo nice to open our room with the aircon on and a baby cot for my daughter, which we requested beforehand. They also helped us get a late checkout. Considering how draggy our flight went, this gesture was greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I checked in late night but I couldn't sleep well. Bed was stink. I spoke to front desk and housekeeping changed all the sheets and blankets. You need a much higher standard of cleanliness.
