We were just staying one night but overall experience is great. Room is very spacious and as I bring my 3 years old kid, the staff gave me one more extra bed for my son to sleep. Staff are very helpfull when we ask about anything. And finally the shuttle from and to the airport also very helpfull for us.

« horrific at first then excellent before we check out »

During check in from my 5am flight coming from Philippines, i was checked in by the front desk however, to my horror i was very disappointed when the assigned room was not yet cleaned by the housekeeping from a previous guest. Cigarette butts everywhere, used towels on the floor, food left over, stinky smell. Called the front desk from my room, but instead of going up to the room and see what happened, he just simply told me to go back to the front desk and get a new room and the key. I feel that it was a normal practice from your staffs and not even apologizing. Just told me that it must be the housekeeping's fault. Then after i wrote a review at Hotels.com on how was my check in, i wrote everything. Then the duty manager Peter called me and discuss about the incident. He made efforts to ensure everything moving forward is smooth and made my stay enjoyable. Over all i will give this hotel a satisfactory rating.

Grand Mercure Singapore Roxy is my hotel of choice before leaving Singapore. The complimentary shuttle service to Changi airport is regular and the driver's attitude has improved a little (though still room for improvement). Love the gym that is open 24 hours, readily available towels and lockers in gym bathroom. And the gym bathroom for quick shower before late night flight. The buffet breakfast is adequate in terms of spread though the quality and taste need to be improved - I don't expect the same variety of spread as award winning Carouesell at Royal Plaza but the chefs need to put in more effort into the cooking and taste of the food; some of the food especially the chicken and dim sums are not even on par to the quality of foodcourt stalls all around Singapore. The take away for self service coffee/tea/chocolate at the restaurant is a good idea. Not much impression of the room or bed after 2 weeks. Comfortable and clean nonetheless.

« My most recent stay continued the friendly and professional service that I have come to expect »

Check-in at reception (even after midnight) was well organised and seamless in regard to the identification and payment process. The room was very clean, odourless and well maintained. The in room safe was located at a reasonable level, allowing easy access with sufficient lighting. This maybe a small thing to some travellers but it shows forethought by management to help make the stay as comfortable as possible.

Most satisfactory. As a returning guest and a Platinum member my status was recognised with a room upgrade. Staff (as expected) most helpful and courteous. Room was extremely comfortable and the Hotel is not too far from the Airport (and thus quickly accessed by guests whose flights arrive late in the night).

« We will be back, friendly service, everything we needed for our young family on a layover to Europe. »

Clean and friendly hotel. Close to the airport and the East Coast Park, mall across the road with food court, short bus ride or taxi ride to the main attractions. Big building being built across the road but this did effect our stay, couldn't hear anything from inside the hotel. We stayed on layover to Europe from NZ, everything we need for our young family ( we had two rooms, next to each other with connecting door), we will be back!

The room is spacious, staffs are helpful and kind, easy access by bus, airport shuttle to and from hotel, complete breakfast, there is handphone in the room to bring but only for local call, no data, bathroom with bathtub only.
