« Convenient, reliable, friendly »

It was my third stay at this hotel and I wasn't disappointed. The rather sober exterior appearance doesn't matter when staying inside. The room was spacey and bright. I met only professional and friendly staff. A tiny irk was that the instant coffee for the coffee maker in the room was not replenished on one day. I know it's a courtesy feature, but when you make it a part of your plan for the day then you start relying on it, and miss it when you return to the room in the evening. I got some supply upon asking, no problem there, but I wonder why this keeps happening to me (not just at Accor hotels, I must say). Maybe I'm cursed ... :-)

Still await refund of charges you made in error to my John Lewis card instead of the Halifax Clarity card provided by Mr Rice for the other room booked. So this is a COMPLAINT and John Lewis are also concerned now with your error..

I attended the VKD Conferenz. The room was OK despite the fact that I was placed in a disabled persons room, but as I wished a quite room, and obviously none other were available. I conceded to the suggestion. Thew door to the room opens automatically an closes after about 2 minutes automatically. There is no possibility to close it quicker. The food in the food area could be a little better, the service was good. The food for the conference participants was not to my liking.

Overall it was a great experience, we will definitely come back again and book Novotel hotel. The booking that was initially made had a mistake of giving us a single room for 3 adults and 2 kids. Our first night was a disaster resulting to severe neck pain to 2 of the adults. I called the reception and Lucas (not sure if I got the spelling correctly) was so accommodating and provided us immediately a second room. The remaining 2 nights went extremely well. Thus in the end, it is still a good experience. Kudos to Lucas for making it better experience in the end for us.

We booked this location due to our previous booking at Novotel Berlin Mitte being cancelled shortly after 18:00. Although written in the booking, i never experienced this without any prior warning. The bad: 1. We were charged for Late Checkout 2. We were told breakfast was included at check in and later the next day we had to pay 42 euros. 3. Never recieved welcome drink as Silver member 4. We asked for help with a taxi and was told just wait outside for one (4 star hotel service?) Good: 1. The late checkout fee was taken off but not after talking to 3 people 2. Room was clean and quiet with a great view After this experience and recent previous, i will no longer continue with Accors hotels after my 7-8 year tenure. The quality has simply decreased with finding better value and service at other hotel chains.
