This hotel is good for family and breakfast is reaaly good. I strongly recommend the hotel. Further location is top of the range close tonopera house and sydney cbd. People in the hotel are very friendly and care for customer s well.

nice room, friendly staff, but strange there was no movies available as it makes a hotel stay a different experience for staying at home. Also, the ability to be able to use my laptop or phone to stream netfilx etc was not working. I found it strange that there was an $8 charge for room service. That seems a lot.

I can certainly give you great feedback. We got in from a very early flight from Melbourne and arrived at around 8.30am. We kindly requested if we could check in early and we where told no room/s are not ready till 2pm though for a $50 upgrade we can get you into a room now. Tired and just wanting to settle in we agreed to pay the $50 and check in. We asked if the rooms had a better view in which the concierge replied certainly does. To our surprise born rooms has no view other than the edge of the Sofitel. The other part was that we checked out Wednesday morning and had a scheduled flight back to Melbourne that night. Unfortunately our flight was cancelled due to high winds in Melbourne. We then tried to get another 2 rooms at your hotel for that afternoon with no success. We where simply told booked out and that was that. No customer service to even ask can I try and find you a room somewhere else in the vicinity or any offer of trying to free up rooms. We found 2 rooms at the 4 seasons at a very reasonable rate of $330.00 a room. Let me tell you from the minute we arrived we where greeted and treated with such professionalism we where blown away. In all the rooms views, bed , pillows, decor, size ,tv ,location and more where so superior to Sofitel Wentworth it was a joke. I would recommend and stay at the 4 seasons on every visit to Sydney. Your hotel needs to lift its game as you can’t compete with the amenities of other hotels though the staff and service can help you warm people’s business.

Comfortable room. Good to have upgrade. Room set up as per request. Guest amenities appreciated. Wifi good. Lounge and Garden Cafe breakfasts were inconsistent with slow service (very slow on beverages ie did not arrive until halfway through breakfast), poor execution of eggs, another guest’s half eaten butter put on our table, food not / slowly replenished and tables not cleared. Much better afternoon tea service.

Very pleasant: Hotel staff VERY friendly, towels beautiful large and fluffy, free bottled water was welcomed, comfortable beds. Improvements/suggestions: Better GF options at breakfast (GF toast 3 days in a row when grilled came charred and black bitter taste on one side of bread. Gf crepe or waffle offered would have been a nice touch. Also even baked beans were not gluten free, Sofitel Gallery qtown make their own and they are GF. Potato also wasnt GF for people who are Coeliac as it was deep fried their was no offer to cook a few in a frypan for me. Bathroom extractor fan seemed very weak as bathroom steamed up very quickly and did not extract.

« Comfortable & close to where we wanted to sightsee. »

We had a mother-daughter trip and felt extremely comfortable and well looked after. My daughter is 9 so it was important we stayed somewhere within walking distance to Circular Quay. The delicious buffet breakfast every morning was a great way to start our day. And it was good to know we had a warm bed to come back to after a whole day out.
