« Had a lovely stay »

This was my first time staying at Mercure Kuta Bali Beach and I really enjoyed it. I had my 3 year old daughter with me on her first holiday and she loved it. Our room was nice and had a great view, the only issues were the lighting (some lights could only be turned off from the switch on one side of the bed which was super annoying) and also there was no bench to place your suitcase so it had to go on the floor which wasn't ideal. The pool area was absolutely amazing, we loved spending time there and although we only dined in the restaurant once, the food was delicious. I am an Accor employee (Talent & Culture Manager for Mercure & ibis Perth, AU) and therefore have a Heartist Bienvenue card. When I went to use it, it was a little bit of a hassle but all good in the end. The lobby area is stunning and the location of the hotel is perfect. The staff, particularly on checkout (a lady named Dewi) were friendly and welcoming. Overall I had a simply wonderful stay, I am already looking at booking my next trip and I will certainly be staying at Mercure Kuta Bali Beach again!!!

« Great location »

Nice hotel. Room 309 was a very comfortable room. Breakfast was on 4th floor in a lovely room and had plenty of selections. Roof top pool was fabulous as was the spa.

« unpleasant room but kind staffs »

After checked in when i stepped into the room there was an odd smells and i immediately needed to open the balcony door but it cause lots of mosquitoes to the room and we couldn't sleep well at night. ( also i found the dead mosquito on the mirror with blood ) toilet bowl makes sounds whenever we sit and stand up from it. it was really unpleasant staying with Mercure Kuta Bali. i'm sure i can find other hotel with CLEAN & Bigger room. i totally regret to choose your hotel, it was not worth staying at all.

« birthday ruined »

I specifically asked if i can stay at the upper floors, it’s a birthday trip i want to go smoothly, have to move next day, it was not ready at 2pm, we wasted the whole day just waiting to be moved. at check in i gave my credit card and they asked for my pin number. i am not stupid, it’s a confidential information! the room we were moved to had ants, we didn’t mind at first but then we both a cake and put it inside the refrigerator, the ants went inside the fridge and ruined my cake!! i complaint and they cannot move us because there is no room available. we have to wait again for the next day and given my already experience about moving to another room, telling us it will be ready but it won’t be, i said it’s ok we can stay as long as you do something about the ants and spray the room. oh the drain at the shower is clogged, i told them to fix it too. the next day we came inside the room and still greeted by ants, (i have a video of it still deciding to post it publicly)... I told them the girl answered, told her to come see!! and i think she avoided me and shift changed to a man. still can’t do anything because there are no rooms again!!! i said spray it and it seems that the housekeeping did not do it all!! and those men at housekeeping seems to just watch television whenever we pass by a room they are cleaning! the shower has molds it’s untidy, the toilet smells never cleaned! i said i will give another chance just put make sure to spray those ants away.. the next morning before we leave i said our room have ants, “yes yes yes, we know” not even apologetic for their mistake of not solving it in the first place!!! oh and the airport pick up was very bad! i had to activate my roaming just to call the hotel!!!!! we already paged for the driver twice because we could not find him!!! oh and we already paid for the room until late check out, we went out to shop in the morning and we were greeted nicely even when we came back the hotel key card does not work!! they already are familiar with our faces and they should have explained to us about the key!!! we had to wait about 10 mins before they assist us because they have to assist those checking in first!!! i wanted to scream don’t stay here!! go to another hotel!!! we were very tired and we still have to pack and we were wasting time at the front desk to be assisted!!! do we feel welcome?? we should have been able to cut in line or was assisted by someone else for the damn key!! this is my first stay at Accor hotels, it was very bad!! Outrigger had better customer service!! I should have chosen their hotel for my birthday vacation!!

« Stayed few times but still not feel privileged »

I stayed at this hotel several times but although I am Gold member I had to mention before I was greeted and given privileged. I was not given Gold welcome drink, and I had to ask the next day. Also Gold welcome drink do not entitle to hot drink. nor alcoholic. I was not completely satisfied.

Our first room had a bad "Laneway" smell which they got rid of for us. Then our toilet roof fell so we changed rooms. The first room the bed was really hard, the second room was fine. I would suggest using smaller pillows as they are really high and we all woke up each morning with a sore neck

Love the 4th floor and the infinity pool, always love to stay here on my visits to Bali. Guests are welcomed and the staff are happy to please, always with a smile. Breakfasts are basic but a good selection, fruits, pastries etc
