Excellent English speaking front desk team. Easy to get to coex mall, 7-10min Walk, airport shuttle within walking distance. One small drawback, bed is too thin and lack the bedding pad to my liking. Room is short of walking space, ideal for 1 person only.

The hotel didn”t give us free upgrade room or a free extrabed for my child as an advantage membership. Nothing special treatment as a member. It was very different when we stayed in some accor hotels in Australia.

« Another great stay! »

As expected my stay at Ibis Gangnam was very smooth once again. I am never disappointed by the team here and this is my 3rd or 4th time staying here. The room had everything I needed and the staff was always very helpful. It was a cold weekend so the walk to either station was a bit brutal (Samseong station feels slightly closer) but at least the weather was decent so it was still an enjoyable stroll.

Good friendly service upon check-in. 12th floor room is renovated- bright, cozy interior design and comfy bed & pillows. I like the ibis shuttle bus that goes to Coex buildings as it is about 10-15minutes walk to that area (or the nearest train station).

« affordable price with great service »

I had 2 nights-stay at Ibis Styles Gangnam. Great support for early check in at 9am. My booking was a suite at 15th floor. Room were clean and spacious. Breakfast with plenty of choice between western and korean. And even after my checkout, I left my Iphone in the room. After a phone call, the front desk support immediately and found mine. I came back later that afternoon to collect my phone. The only minor discomfort is the couch in the living room which has many stains on.

I chose this hotel for my first ever business trip to Seoul as I need to transit to another area early in the morning. Even though the room was not too big, it was clean and comfortable. The lounge area was great too serving local Korean beer. The breakfast menu could be better with more selections.

Team members are very welcoming and friendly. Housekeeping team members even greeted and asked if i would like to clean my room despite that I've put the do not disturb notice on my room. Bed was comfortable and room was clean. It was really a pleasant stay overall.

Overall, I think your rooms are a bit too small - yet they are designed in a way that the stay is just ok i.e. very efficient design to optimize space. Breakfast needs improvement i.e. have a korean and western choices: selection of fresh fruit, good quality fresh juices, some choice of good cheese (such as e.g. gouda) or ham (good leg-ham, parma ham). Addtional healthy choices i.e. a fresh bircher muesli and ideally a homemade granola would be great. Then a nice barista style flat white.... Welcome drink for Gold Members should be a free choice (e.g. include a Gin Tonic).

Been staying in Ibis Kangnam for years. Over all service and room conditions are good. Two points for improvement: 1. Air condition dries up the room to the point where my lips cracked. What can be done ? 2. Looking at long term trend in the breakfast lounge, I can see that some items are gradually dropped. For example, there was a time when omelets could be asked for and made, scrambled legs were on offer and vegetarian options were more abundant. As well, bread quality seem to be an issue as the sliced breads on offer were of lower quality than before and the baguette, while fresh, seemed to be preheated and much too crusty as if it just gotten out of a toaster.
