Staff friendly and efficient, quick service at check in. Courtesy bus runs on time and reliable. Restaurant has a good selection of meals, service is prompt and bar/restaurant staff friendly and efficient. We stay here fairly frequently and will be doing so again soon.

The hotel was clean and simple. The staff was nice but gave us incorrect information about the shuttle. We had to order a cab when we realized the woman checking us in was very wrong about the service schedule and we almost missed our flight. The air condition didn’t work so it was very hot and uncomfortable in the room.

« Comfortable stay and amazing staff »

Perfect hotel for those who want to be near Malpensa. The village is sleepy and quiet but it has one small supermarket (carrefour express) and a few good cafes, pastry shops and good pizza take aways. The rooms are the standard ibis red but they unfortunately don't have a kettle which is common in Italy. The breakfast is the industrial junk food type breakfast common in Italy. It is basically white flour in a dozen variations (white bread, donuts, croissants, biscuits etc.) with the sickly juices from a carton and the 'jail house' cold boiled eggs, cheese and sliced cold meat. Best to avoid. The staff is friendly and the front desk staff were particularly kind and helpful, especially Gerica!

Airport shuttle was quick and convenient. Reception quick and efficient. Dining experience good, friendly service and nice meal. Only negative the room is a little too small, very little space between the bed and the wall. Otherwise very good.

« Great stay in an Ibis that exceeded our expectations. »

We arrived to stay one night having mistakenly booked for 2 before leaving New Zealand. At the time we were led to believe we could only redeem the extra money against another stay. However, on booking in our receptionist made enquiries and we were able to use the credit against any expenses at the hotel including meals and parking. No fuss, just quiet efficiency in making it happen. Every experience we had mirrored that attitude.

« Worst stay I ever had in my life. I couldn’t sleep!!! »

First of all, there was no way to book the airport shuttle during reservation on the app. My flight arrived at 0h15 and I had to spend 23€ on taxi. Once in the hotel, I was starving and the sheet in the lift said snack bar open 24/7, which was a lie as there was only a vending machine with soft drinks and candy. But the worst is yet to come. I entered the room and it was really fusty, but the AC would work! I went down to the reception to ask for another room as the AC was broken, but the receptionist told me that the air conditioner doesn’t work during this time of the year and I should open the window if I wanted some ventilation, which I did but it wasn’t enough to get rid of the suffocation air inside the room caused by the lack of recent cleaning. Me and my wife are allergic to dust so we couldn’t sleep the whole night. We spent the night coughing with blocked noses, feeling our throats scratching and breathing very difficultly. Because of that, WE COULD SLEEP ONE SINGLE MINUTE, but there was no where else we go that late in the evening in the middle of nowhere. I basically spent nearly 100€ (counting with taxi) to have the worst night of (trying to) sleep in my life. I had to run to the pharmacy the next day to buy medicine that helped a little but the dirt was so strong that we are still felling ill after 3 days, ruining our trip to Italy and France. I wouldn’t recommend it even to my worst enemy!

« Short but excellent stay at Ibis Malpensa »

This easy, comfortable airport hotel is about 6 km close to Malpensa airport. My arrival was pleasant because the reception staff was friendly and welcoming and in a couple of minutes the room key was in my hands. The room, a single room offered all you need. Everything was clean and functional. An easy to enter shower, a clean bathroom and enough towels. The bar is open 24/24, making it easy when like me, having to checkout at 5:00am and having the chance for a coffee before leaving. By the way, even with my window open (I must have my sleeping room window open in summer and winter times), the noise from airport and highway was very low. At closed window, the room is perfectly noise insulated. Conclusion: normally I don't write so much for an overnight flight connection stay, but in this case I found that this hotel and especially the hotel staff, deserves an excellent rating. This will be for me my next hotel when coming back to Milano Malpensa.

« Noisy during night »

This hotel was reasonable, staff great, helpful as usual. Breakfast didn't look that good. Main complaint was we had asked for a room in a quiet area which we got in one respect, inside the hotel. However lots of noise around 1 - 2 am as truck deliveries were made down the ramp directly behind us. Yes we had the window open, but the room would have been too hot with it closed. They don't turn on the A/C in many parts of Europe this early in the year unlike North America where you can access it most of the time.
