I booked this hotel at the last moment because it could be used for three adults. When we arrived the check in experience was a little confused. As a priority club member who had checked in online I should have been dealt with immediately. However, I was made to wait by a man who was asking rather detailed information of the reception staff about the English Gardens. He would have been better off going to the tourist information in Munich. I was also rudely queue jumped by a rather large German lady at the priority club desk. I fail to see how your receptionist didn't know I was next in the queue because I had been there about 3 minutes longer than the other lady. But since my German is inadequate I didn't make a fuss. Once I had the full attention of the receptionist she was very friendly and efficient. However, she didn't seem to know that the hotel had an underground car park that it shares with the IBIS hotel next door. She advised us to park on the street outside, but since we had already been travelling for two weeks and had bought lots of things we didn't want to leave them out on the street with no level of security. Once we got to our suite we were happy with it. It was large, the bathroom was excellent with a powerful shower and a large bath tub. The beds were also comfortable and the fridge & microwave were very useful. However, the communal areas were intimidating due to the nature of many of your current guests. They allowed their children to run up and down the corridors making noise. Both nights, after long days in Munich, we were subjected to noise from their children running around and playing on the floor above. It didn't quieten down until about 11pm. Whenever we used the lifts their children would run in and out of them barging past, they seemingly have no concept of how to behave. It was also very strange to see them utilising the entirety of the seating areas downstairs. One morning after already being jostled by their children in the lift, the doors opened to reveal every seat in the foyer area taken up by them eating. I am sure this is not a breakfast area but I might be wrong? My husband also found it insulting when using the lift because any time he was there their women would not get in the same lift as him and would stare at the ground or walls. I live in a multicultural city in England with an over 35% immigrant population and I have never felt such a cultural or religious divide before, I was quite shocked.

I checked in and out online. Everything went well with a smooth check-in. Also, as I commented to arrive very early, the reception even called me before arrival saying that the hotel was fully booked and therefore they unfortunately wouldn't have a room available that early. That was good service. At check-out I was asked only whether I wanted a printed bill or by email. I said by email. But 24 hours later the bill is still not there. That is not good. I would have expected it in the hour following my check-out, since an electronic bill would be easy to prepare and send. That is the only negative point I have to report, all the rest was perfectly ok.

I had a issue with the redeeming on my points for the stay and the experience of dealing with this was stressful. I was left on my own to sort this out and the hotel staff kept on insisting that I can use this for my next trip to come out of the problem. The help from hotel manager in the end was good to keep this good. Please check that le club and hotel staff are working together and not through the guest.

The suite decor as a concept is excellent. But one of the three panels for dividing the room was missing, one for the windows was stained from top to bottom, and lat but not lest the corner is the toilet seat was yellow from ... rust it seems Before arriving I had let a message asking not to be close to the lift . I got a suite in front of the lift without explanation. To be fair, it was not noisy. The receptionist did not even bother to smile or tell us something else than the room number ! To be fair, there were some strange excited people making a lot of noise at the bar near The overall stay was correct but it could have been excellent with room duly maintained and staff friendly

Hotel was OK, just as expected. But these was an issue. I entered the parking freely — it was open — and then it came out that I had to take a ticket at the entrance. Once again, the gate was OPEN and FREE to go. Nothing stopped me from entering the garage. And after that, in just 30-40 minutes when I wished to drive out of the garage, I was charged 10 euros for "issuing a new ticket", while it shoud be free for me as I stayed less than 1 hour in the garage. That's not the way things shoud be done. Now I DO know that one must keep an eye when it comes to APCOA, but well, checking in to Accor hotel, I was not dealing with APCOA, I was dealing with Accor Hotels. I'd be glad if my feedback was useful.

Franziska Baumgarten is an amazing talented employee that assisted pre arrival in multiple ways! First the reservation booked for the false days thru a slippage in the system, as it all of the sudden had us arrive 2 days later than our arriving flight and our daughters birthday. Called the support phone number in the US, just to get a “can’t help you” with zero empathy from the agent! As it was a prepaid booking, I started to get really worried despite the immediate call to the help center. I called the hotel in Munich directly to see if they can help and Franziska was kind, understanding and made my problem go away with ease. I did call back multiple times as it didn’t update on my app but she assured me all was taken care of and even send me a screenshot of the corrected reservation! Furthermore she assisted in preparing a little surprise for our daughter and placed both mine and my friends room near each other. She alone made our stay great. Otherwise, Room was clean and hotel had a good location. Only disappointment was that the beer had a bad taste and we ended up going across to the other hotel for our second beer and the next evening.

The rooms are spacious and modern. Very convenient for a family. However, the safe in our room didn’t work and was not fixed during our stay although we asked for maintenance twice. Also one of the window shaders was broken and we couldn’t stop the day light from entering the room while we are sleeping.
