I stayed with my small family in one room, perfectly designed for a short stay (one night). What could be better: more description for the public transport to city center or airport especially for the first-time visitors in Brussels. But the taxi availability and organization were perfect.

We stay on a regular basis at ibis budgets in the Netherlands and France, this was the first time in Belgium. They need improvement, towels were not clean smelling of grease, like they've been lying near a kitchen. Bedsheets and covers were the same. A very thin blanket is available for the third person, not even a duvet even though it was only 10 degrees. When we asked for one at the reception, we got a double bed duvet with a lot of stains on it (no sheet provided) Check out was terrible, the guy at the reception was having almost having a heart attack because he had to print a receipt and we were waiting to pay for our breakfast before we could even have one. Breakfast is more than worth the price 10€ pp. Fresh bread, 2 sorts of cheese, ham and salami, some fruit and good coffee and juice machine. They should contact Ibis budget Stein Maastricht and learn from them.

A bit surprised at how basic the room was but in hindsight you get what you pay for. Ideal for a night stay when all you need is a bed and a shower.
