« Generally satisfied, but not up to usual expectations. »

Rooms were clean comfortable, but espresso machine was not working. One of the electricity plugs was not working (a plug to charge my phone). The laundry service, although confirming that the laundry was ready, had to be called again to actually deliver it to my room promptly. The most disappointing part of my trip though was the actual reservation. My assistant tried over a 2 day period to pay for my trip, and was told numerous times that there was a technical issue as to why my reservation could not be paid for and that they would get back to her promptly. The hotel staff never did, although she called back at least twice reminding them. The only reason the reservation was eventually paid for was apparently because my assistant indicated that she would reserve for me at another Dubai hotel. Overall, although the hotel staff were friendly and courteous as always, the overall experience this time was not my usual expectation of Novotel service.

« very nice stays recently »

quick check in, clean suite, nice coffee machine and excellent service from Sameh on check in - very pleasant to deal with we were looked after very well at breakfast (weekly by the Manager) and chef Samapath. Great freshly baked bread. nice coffee and they usually take very good care of us by immediatly preparing the orders which they now know. The restaurant manager makes us feel like distinguished guest. the quality of food has improved. i think still there room for further improvement though (without being too demanding)

I really liked staying here. The only thing is the wifi wasn’t strong enough and that when I tried to order the coffee they kept on bringing the wrong one. But this was minor. I would stay here again

It was fine. Good location. Room cleaning was good but the service varies depending on who came in. Table setting in the restaurant was also very inconsistent. Each morning, there would be different utensils missing from the table setting.

I found the check-in process rather slow, considering I had already paid for the room in advance and was only staying 1 night. When we went to our room, it had clearly not been cleaned since the last guest checked out! We went back to reception and were given another room quickly - problem solved. The room was simple, but fine for a short stay with an early check-out. Concierge staff were helpful getting us taxis.
