It is a lovely hotel. I have stayed many times over seven years. I am the chief executive of an organisation that uses the hotel much more. On this occasion I had two reservations for consecutive nights. My office checked, I checked when I arrived but the next day I had people come into my room to say I should have left and was locked out of my room. When this was resolved I received only the most basic apology. I have not been treated this way before. I am really shocked and particularly that it was in this hotel.

Rooms were very comfortable, clean. Loved the rain head . The staff was professional and knowledgeable and very helpful in planning a few excursions after our Delta flight was cancelled minutes before our scheduled departure and we were delayed for 2 days.

Excellent stay. Warm and welcoming staff. Great ambience in hotel lobby and very comfortable rooms. Only concern was that the chain on bedroom door proved difficult to remove when locked.

Generally Ok. I arrived early (about 12.00) so no rooms were available (that’s normal). The check-in staff member apologised, checked me in anyway, and said “as soon as a room becomes available, we’ll allocate it to you in priority. Please have a seat.” In the meantime, various colleagues attending the same meeting arrived and were checked in and given rooms immediately. I went back to ask for a room and was told again “no, no rooms available.” This doesn’t make me feel like a very valued guest...

My stay was overall good. Just a small black spot: one day I returned in the middle of the afternoon to my room and found out that the cleaning was not done yet. No big deal in itself but I was a bit annoyed.

I stayed two days in a Superior room with breakfest. Everything was perfect. The staff was always friendly and helpfull. The only thing i can complain about was the topper of the bed. The last layer was too soft for me, so i removed it after the first night.

The reception staff was very efficient both at check-in and check-out. Breakfast had a lot of options, with different types of bread, healthy cereals and pastry. The room was spacious, overviewing Place Jourdan, and the bed was very comfortable.

The stay was fine as always. However, upon leaving I left/forgot a pair of boots in my room. I am 100% sure of this. The only comment I got is that nothing was found, which is impossible. No further support, claims procedure. A truly big disappointment.
