First class staff, clean, good breakfast, nothing is too much trouble. These are the reasons that I return to your hotel time after time. I have one observation-you need to improve the delivery of the newspaper to the bedroom. This always used to work as a service but in recent visits (I would say the past four), it hasn't worked at all. So it is a consistent failure, which means there is something wrong with your system. Having said that, when I pointed this out to Reception, they sent the doorman out to obtain The Times and it was delivered to me at breakfast

Not bad but when husband asked for a pint of bitter at the bar, there was some confusion! Servers thought he wanted bitter lemon! Also so-called ‘music’ in bar area was far too loud so we could not avail ourselves of any drinks. We were not happy about this. Other than that, most things were fine.

« Well short of what was expected. »

The hotel was full, one lift was not working. The wait time was incredible. Rather than fix the lift a poster attempting humour was placed on each floor. Just fix it quickly. I think I saw three different doormen; not at any time did I see any of them lift a guest's bag; it was quite something else. GBP15.50 to simply turn the TV on to BBC or whatever; not the movies but simply to access TV; never heard of before. No 24 hour restaurant; bar food albeit reasonably extensive at non-meal time but well short of say the Magero across the road. No recognition of Platinum status; usually a room upgrade. Anyway you've lost me; tried it when it was Novotel and it didn't work and still doesn't.

Very good although: a) Bar prices are extremely high, I think they could be a little lower, especially for residents. b) One of the lifts wasn't working, which I understand. But please could you advise guests that there is a glass lift? For those of us with a fear of heights this is a major problem – it would demonstrate awareness of customer needs to mention this.

The location of Pullman hotel is very convenient to train station and the breakfast provided is the best so far I came across. However, the receptionists asked me to sign a blank credit slip due to the printing machine running out of inks. ( I never signed papers without knowing the amount to be paid)

« Lovely stay, slightly let down by the breakfast »

First off, I have to say just how nice the hotel is. My room was gorgeous and, although the window to my room backed out onto the roof of the adjoining building, and other buildings making for a somewhat disappointing view, I wasn't disappointed at all with the room. It was comfortable, well-decorated and had everything I could need for my overnight stay. The real disappointment came with the breakfast. I had specifically chosen this, as I had a long day ahead of me and a good breakfast would have fuelled my day. Unfortunately, despite having gotten down to breakfast relatively early, every element of my cooked breakfast was either lukewarm or just plain cold. It soured the experience a little, really, and meant that I had to fuel up elsewhere afterwards. Aside from that, a lovely hotel and a comfortable night's rest.

The room was extremely comfortable - shower lovely - water hot with efficient shower. Rooms cleaned well - only thing I would recommend is that the mini bar was replaced with a fridge.

The room was very pleasant the breakfast was excellent and the stay was overall good. My only criticisms would be that there were only 3 lifts which led to occasional long waits particularly as one lift broke down half way through my visit and remained out of use. The second was there was a fire drill held but I was only given 20 minutes advance warning (via message on TV timestamped 20 minutes before the drill occurred which I saw after I returned to my room and a poster next to the elevator that wasn't there that morning) and so was unware that it was occurring and thus evacuated when the alarm went off.

« The hotel is very nice, the rooms are clean, its in a good location, and the employees are all very nice and welcoming. »

I enjoy staying at the Pullman due to its centralized location in London. I have an easy 35 min train ride to get to work in Welwyn Garden City. The staff is always very friendly when I'm leaving or returning to the hotel. The rooms are the perfect size for my usual length of stay. I thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast buffet every morning.

For the most part, our stay was most enjoyable and satisfactory. Just two points: The choice of TV channels in comparison to all other hotels where we have stayed, was extremely limited and disappointing; check-in took a little longer than we are accustomed to. Not sure if it is good practice for the person checking you in to take a phone call, thus trying to do two things at once rather than giving you her full attention.
