« Fantastic stay for Aachen Carnival time »

It was an excellent stay as usual. Fabulous room, staff, service and overall stay at the Quellenhof! The breakfast was excellent and we enjoyed time in the bar with the friendly bar staff. The spa area is good and very relaxing. Overall a super stay from the welcoming reception staff to the end of our stay.

« Amazing hotel with great staff »

Fantastic hotel with great staff, the location is great, the parking facilities are very safe and secure and the hotel itself is great. The spa and fitness are very nice and the rooms are very spacious and comfortable. Breakfast outstanding with a lot of choice of fresh foods and drinks. The best thing about the hotel is the staff, the staff are very kind and professional and will go the extra mile for the guest. A special thank you to Sandra in reservations who helped me make the booking and who took very good care of me. She arranged for an amazing room and she was very kind. Definitely one of the best experiences in regards to service so far.

Very good service at reception, bar, brasserie and room cleaning. Welcome letter and small gifts from GM were a pleasant surprise. Room was spacious, quiet, clean and well equipped. As I will come now more often to Aachen, I found my place to stay!

Check in was very slow. We arrived at 10pm after a 7 hour drive with young children and it took 20 minutes to get our room key. Very disappointing.

Overall mediocre experience. The walls in the room were dirty and scratched all over the room. The water in the swimming pool was cold, the water in the river might have been warmer than in the spa of a 5 star hotel.

« The loud Carnaval festivities caused severe disturbance during the night. »

Dear Sirs, I am sorry to inform you that our stay over the weekend did not meet the high expectations that we had and the relaxing environment that we expected in a spa resort. The fact that you were hosting carnaval parties over the weekend – Friday and Saturday - was not communicated and the party on Friday night kept us awake until 04:00 am ! I called in at 03:00 and the front desk employee could only agree with the fact that it was very noisy, however there was nothing he could do. The next morning, I did report in that I was going to file an official complaint and the front desk manager stated that he was aware that I had called in at 03:00 and he offered us another room # 206 ( same category ) which should not suffer from the party on Saturday night and a discount on the first night. The second night worked out good, however at the check-out nobody was aware of a discount on the first night and frankly speaking, I did not want to make a big deal out of it, as the damage already occurred. I consider this as a missed opportunity from your side and certainly not in line with the service level that you would expect from a 5 star Accor Hotel. Regards, Ben de k. « Room for improvement »

The location and hotel itself are both magnificent. The reception team upon arrival were fabulous and the room was lovely. The letdown is the poor maintenance, you really should not have paint peeling off, and the major faux pas was the dirty breakfast area. Coffee cup was dirty, the buffet not clean, dirty cheese knives and just not a great experience, though the food selection was very good. The bar staff were equally unfriendly, no table service and there were more important things to discuss and more important guests than us, which resulted in us of course only having one drink and leaving.

« Christmas Market Time »

This hotel is fantastic, from the time we arrived we were treated like family and the location is great. The rooms are beautiful and the restaurant is excellent. The staff are so friendly and helpful in guiding you around this beautiful city, it was a 10 minute walk to the Christmas Market and city center, I will definitely come back here.

« My last stay at Quellenhof was not like before... »

We returned to the Quellenhof in December 2019, after having visited the Hotel several times in the past. The attitude at the Front Desk had now changed, it was with a somewhat uninterested feeling. Moreover, our room had the "No Disturb" sign clearly on the door on the morning before our departure. But the door was opened totally unexpected by Housekeeping, with no excuse (since the cleaning lady did not speak English). When reporting this to the Front Desk, there was no immediate respons or any action taken. I find this very poor for a 5* Hotel, since I have had no reaction at all from Management since our check-out !

We were treated perfectly by every member of staff we encountered. They were all helpful, professional and totally customer focused. Wonderful! The rooms were spacious, comfortable and exactly as required. The food in the Brasserie Restaurant was delicious and of very high caliber dining, plus the waiting staff were excellent. The room service food was of an equally high standard and served beautifully. Our little puppy, who turned out to be somewhat of an escape artist was made entirely welcome throughout the whole hotel. The Spa, was as sumptuous as one would wish. A totally wonderful family break- thank you so much!

« This was our second overnight stop at your hotel so we knew that we would be well looked after by your team. We »

We were made welcome by your reception staff who greeted us warmly on a cold wet evening. One of them parked our car. Our room was comfortable and clean with a very comfortable bed. Your bar and restaurant staff are polite courteous and cheerful. We feel very comfortable in your hotel and shall stay again the next time that we are in Aachen.
