We were very impressed with the hotel. Also, service was always of high quality, with the exception of the spa receptionist whom we couldn't reach during our entire stay.

« Just gets better »

We have been staying at the Quellenhof two or three time a year for the last 8 years. To be honest, it was a little tired and “lived in” for our first visits but still had a certain charm. The charm is still there but the Qullenhof improves with every visit. The tiredness is gone. The main positive is the staff who are knowledgable, friendly and welcoming all the way from reception to the breakfast bar....

« Nice Hotel, well located, but needs a serious refurbishing »

The building is great. The hotel well located to visit the city and Aachen old town. The service was rather good. Special thanks to Haithem Maaouia at the front desk who was tremendously helpful. Service at breakfast not always up to expectations and tables could be cleaned up faster. The Breakfast Buffet could be of a better quality as well for this type of hotel standing. Rooms and bathrooms are nicely large, but they need a serious uplift and refurbishing. Matrices are too soft and covers not large enough. I was expecting (as requested) a more fluffy pillows. I would have expected a night service for this hotel standing. Parking highly appreciated. Room upgrade was very much appreciated, as well as the late checkout for Silver Members. Dinner at the hotel Brasserie was rather a good experience. Too bad the bar is not open before 5:00pm or the possibility of having a drink is not available before that time. The WiFi was however quite bad, both the way to connect and connection quality/speed, not at all in line with a hotel of this standing!!! The Accor Members welcome drinks, nuts, Management Note and daily free Evian water bottle were also very much appreciated. Overall, it was a very good experience!

« Beautiful hotel but need revamping »

The hotel is well located and architecturally is beautiful. Rooms need to be revamped. Service is good however some improvements in the reception would be appreciated. Warm water is optional.

very friendly staff, good service. A nive spacious room, clean. A hotel from times past - mostly in a good way. our room was located next to an elevator, made a little noise, but didnt keep us from falling asleep. Also a little noisy a/c we shut down for the night.

The building as a whole is very nice, breakfast is very good, the location is good, the staff is friendly and very professional. My room was specious, and I liked the additional separation door which keeps the noice from the public area out of the room. However, I found it very disturbing, that the closed window does not really keep the noise from the quite busy street out - a lot of much cheaper hotels are much better on that point.

Great Hotel, very good breakfast, brilliant location and super service from restaurant and bar staff. Peter D and his team always look after us well in the Elephant bar. Pity the reception staff did not check room availability when we arrived and dismissed us offhand. We had checked in online saying we would be there before noon and we were told our room would be ready. When we found our email the second reception member checked and it was ready complete with welcome gift!

I enjoyed a nice room, a very nice swimming pool and the excellent breakfast with a very friendly and helpful staff.The direct access to the Eurogress was a great help.The hotel is also close to the city center and in 10 minutes you are at the city hall and the historic district.

« Very good price, but problems with my room. »

The heat was off in my room for two days, and it took two requests to get it fixed, which it should not have. The front desk staff were not able to move me to a warmer room. Also, there were a number of minor issues with my room. The shower head seemed not to work right, and would not provide a nice stream of water. It appeared to be leaking water at the neck. Another problem was the magnifying mirror in the bathroom. It was broken and so would not maintain its position. Finally, there was no wastepaper basket in my room. This was odd, given that the hotel is for business travelers. One other issue was food. Generally it was very good, and the wait staff were accommodating of special requests, but the fellow cooking eggs and omelets seemed not to be in a happy mood and was evidently not using butter with his pan because the omelet came to me torn and in pieces. The lack of room heat was a major issue that will keep me from using your hotel if it happens again. The other problems were minor. Lastly, Ms. Struve was very helpful with rebooking tickets and finding hotel space for me when United canceled my return flight. She was awesome!

Very beautiful building with nice common spaces. We enjoyed using the SPA facilities and breakfast was very good. The room was clean and bed comfortable. The decoration could be refreshed though, we found it a bit old and cheap for an hotel of this standing.

We had a very good stay, the room was very spacious and clean. The swimming pool and the spa area are super. And we had a very nice diner in the restaurant in the evening. The reception staff was correct and friendly, but nothing more, they were scanty with information.

Very very tired hotel. The good rooms are dirty, stains on carpet, furniture, lights do not work, some lights falling off the wall, the TV is ridiculously small on the other side of the room for watching. All in all terribly kept rooms. The hall from the garage is likewise dirty, old and depressing. I give it all a D+ The only redeeming feature is the building on the outside is beautiful and eating outside is very nice.
