All I can say is the staff are amazing and reacted appropriately, however as a Platinum LeClub member I would never choose this property again. From the beds to being led to believe you're upgraded when you're not, and lastly concierge being outsourced, was not a pleasant experience. Apparently outsourcing concierge is the done thing in Germany and it's sad, as I want to know I am dealing with an Accor employee all the time

« So many things went wrong, however staff were amazing so torn on this hotel. »

Let me start with the positives, the hotel itself was modern, nice, and the staff amazing, and also in a great location. Please note though that the concierge is outsourced and therefore the ease of dealing with them as a LeClub Platinum member is difficult. If I hadn't had called from the airport, we would've arrived with no car. Then they tried to charge twice, because the first flight was delayed and we missed our connecting flight. Even though I called to advise it was not actioned, and my check in was started with having to raise my voice for the hotel manager to come out and intervene. I will say this the staff always sorted the issues, however it felt like there was always issues to deal with, and for these reasons I would not choose this property again.

« A pleasant stay »

Room was smaller than expected but ok. Hotel was smart and nicely decorated. Beds were a little on the soft side. Room service items were left outside some of the rooms for hours. Good range available for breakfast well stocked and fresh. All the staff - front of life house, restaurant and housekeeping - were very smart and faultlessly friendly - a real asset to the hotel.

Room was on Budapest Street opposite the Zoo and was a bit noisy from the cars. Windows didn't close properly and the room aircon was not working as it should. In fact the aircon controller was complex and not easy to understand how it actually worked.

This is a very good hotel with quality rooms and an especially talented kitchen. There is not a massive choice of food but it is near perfection. The staff are very, very helpful. The location is close to the centre and a few minutes walk from the zoo, and central shopping area. The ONLY downside of the hotel is that it sometimes gets busy with conventions. making the public areas quite loud.

All employees were very! friendly and courteous with one exception: the consierge at the entrance area. When I arrived at the hotel on 20.01.19 at about 14 o'clock I asked her for the way to the next ATM. She was very fast and clearly annoyed when I did not understand her explanation immediately. She had no patience to explain it again in a normal way and looked at me and treated me as if I were stupid. There were no waiting guests behind me, so that this could have been the reason. This was not a nice start and I remember the incident negatively.

I am really shocked that you received such a negative impression at the beginning! I can totally understand that this was not a nice start and it gave you not a really welcoming feeling. Please let me express my sincerest apologies. However, luckily we resigned our contract with the concierge-team ( it was an external company ) and the collaboration ends in a few days. So I can promise that such a faux pas will not happen again to you! Our staff is trained to do an excellent service at any time and I am quite sure for your next visit everything will be perfect again. Nevertheless I cannot undo what happened. Our room was spacious, quiet, and clean; very comfortable accommodations. The breakfast options were a not only bountiful, but as gluten is prohibited for me, I was able to have an excellent morning meal.

« Super comfortable stay! »

Really nice hotel, super comfortable beds with both tempur- and regular pillows. Large bathtub and no noise at night! The Wellness area was huge with both steamroom, foot bath, different showers and sauna. BE AWARE though - that in Germany it is customary to go naked in the sauna/steambath area... Would I come back? Yes!
