« Long stay for business in Vienna »

Hotel is very close to the West Bahn station and U3/U6. Check in is quite quick, Room almost clean but in someday between stay seem to be quick cleaning. Room size is compact for couple traveller is fine, but we wonder they are not have a snack bar and bath room is only all in one shampoo and dryer only!! Air condition is great we stay in hot summer and sleep well with air conditioning in room. Breakfast have the same food for every day, with moderate quality of food.

It was really pleasure in your hotel, but i have a smaller bad opinion about our stay. The first day we didnt get any cleaning that wasnt a problem for me, but then at the checking day as we were packing and prepairng home the cleaning woman alwAys opened our door that she want to clean. I was trying to explain her that we are leaving in one hour but she didnt understand both in english not german, so she really wanted to clean.

Very convenient for transport links to the airport and all over Vienna, with spacious well-equipped rooms. Very helpful staff, a nice bar and restaurant, and an excellent varied buffet problem. The only downside is there can be considerable noise from tour groups that can carry, particularly if you have a room on the lower floors.

very good but the cleanning need to be more proper and the old men in the reception he should smile a littel bit , very good location , good breakfast ,The hotel is close to the metro, train and bus to and from the airport. This hotel is located very close to all forms of public transport, shops and restaurants. All were easy to get to and use. Although it’s an older style hotel, it suited us well as we didn’t spend a lot of time in the hotel itself. Breakfast choices were good and the bar and restaurant within convenient.

The room was quite small and most basic despite being a superior room! Air conditioning was in a place that it did not cool the room down being obstructed by walls! Honestly, this Mercure hotel was quite a disappointment given my very recent experiences with other Mercure hotels! But the l. was very convenient and the staff were nice.

We stayed in the hotel 3 nights. I asked for higher floor and quiet room when i booked the room. You guys gave us first floor room with stairs and noisy room next door. We've got 2 big luggages. I believe you guys saw us when we got into your hotel. We couldnt believe we got this room at our check in time at 3pm. We went to ask whether or not we can change the room. The staff reply to us. Its all we can do. We really feel disappointed in your service.

Generally hotel well located 20 minutes by walk to the main center, however to keep 4 stars status it should be renovated. Rooms are well equipped but everywhere you can feel the stamp of time... Breakfast just ok but there is a good coffee there. Scrambled eggs not eatable - no taste and I believe there are not fresh used ....

The trip started very well, with me coming to my favourite hotel in Vienna. Then everything went bad! The entrance in the parking is too narrow and I could not park my SUV in the garage without me scratching it. So I leave it on the street where I saw an empty spot( Sunday at 16.00). At check-in, I ask the person from the reception if it is ok to leave the car there, and he tells me that it is short term parking but until Monday at 9.00 it should be fine. => let me clear the surprise: I have received a ticket for 36 euros at 19.16 because I parked without a ticket. The person from the reception did not tell me that I need to pay on Sunday between 18-22. Secondly, at check-in he tells me I have received an upgrade (I am a Gold Accord LeClub member so that is normal) BUT he sends me in one of the worst rooms I have been! The furniture was old and looked very dirty. The paint job is awful (I am sorry I cannot attach pictures, but you can find them on Google where I also reviewed the hotel)! The mini-bar was empty, we did not get a welcome drink which is a must for members of LeClub members. I have stayed with you several times, both on my own or with my family, but this will be the last time I will be with you. There is another Mercure not far from you, and for sure I will choose them. Actually 3/4 weeks ago when I last visited Vienna, I wanted to stay with you, but as it was full I went to them - The minibar was free due to my Gold Status, the room was clean and nice! Your room looked like a communist 2 star hotel, and I should know it because I come from a former communist country. I am very disappointed! Not because of the 36 euros that I paid due to your services but for the general treatment at your establishment!

Booked the junior suite and it left a lot to be desired. The air conditioning was sub par and was centrally controlled. We were on the 6th floor and it was 34+ every day. We were told there was nothing they could do to adjust the air conditioning and eventually gave us a fan to at least move the air in the suite. The suite is very small and there is no space to store your luggage. I felt it was overpriced for what we got.

The room was very nice, clean, well laid out and reasonably priced. The staff were generally friendly and helpful. The older guy behind the desk was a little abrasive but I guess he may have had a long day. In all we were happy.
