My rating could have been a "10". Unfortunately, the outside window blind/jalousie did not work as well as the air conditioner. The remaining equipment and room facilities are in very good order. The staff is very courteous and tactful. Regarding the organization of the seminar, there has been not a single reason for an objection.

« Room air conditioning completely inadequate leaving room far too warm »

My issues with my room were mainly the temperature of the room which was far too warm and the air conditioning couldn't be adjusted suitably. I did complain to reception but there was no improvement. The shower in my bathroom was sub-standard compared to other rooms I have stayed in at this hotel.

« Very nice hotel but weired air condition (way too hot) »

All in all I reallydo enjoy staying at the Pullman in Cologne but more so in winter than in summer. The cons first.The air condition unit in room 808 ( last stay) like in most other rooms does not go below 20 degrees Clesius. That may be sufficient in winter but on a typical summer day like those in the last couple of weeks. Additionally, the fridge or cooling unit did not seem to work properly. Yet the pros outweigh the cons. The hotel is neatly maintained, the staff is helpful and friendly. Every room that I have been into inthe last four years was clean and everything except the ac and the fridge in room 808 work.

« Slightly below average »

It was OK, but not what I would have expected from 5 star hotel. The steam Sauna was broken, the Fitness room was very hot, with some improvised ventilation, which didn't help at all. The pillowcase was loose, so i always woke up in the morning with my face on the naked pillow. I've ordered tomahawk steak, waited for 30 min, only to be informed, that there is no tomahawk steak available anymore... Impressive timing! There was at least one mouse in the restaurant, when pointing it out to the waiter, she told us, that that's normal, and the mouse lives outside, and comes through the open door. Nice! I love animals as well!

Es tut mir sehr leid, dass wir Ihnen in so vielen Punkten keinen angenehmen Aufenthalt beschert haben und ich möchte mich herzlich bei Ihnen für die Unannehmlichkeiten entschuldigen. Ihr Feedback haben wir heute in unserem Morgenmeeting mit den Abteilungsleitern besprochen und gerne gebe ich Ihnen hierzu ein paar Informationen: Das Dampfbad ist wieder in Ordnung, hier haben wir auf ein Ersatzteil gewartet, was nun eingebaut werden konnte. Ebenso war bereits heute morgen eine Schädlingsbekämpfungsfirma im Hotel, um sich der Sache mit den Mäusen anzunehmen. Hierfür und für die unpassende Reaktion unseres Mitarbeiters bitten wir besonders um Entschuldigung. Tatsächlich gab es in der Vergangenheit schon einmal eine ähnliche Situation, welche wir mit Hilfe von Schädlingsspezialisten in den Griff bekommen haben. Nun tauchte in der letzten Woche erneut eine Maus auf, was aber nach dem heutigen erneuten Einsatz nicht wieder vorkommen sollte. Dass Sie so lange auf das Tomahawk Steak gewartet haben, um dann die Information zu erhalten, dass es nicht mehr verfügbar ist, ist peinlich und hätte so natürlich nicht passieren dürfen. Hier werden sich die Serviceleiterin und der Küchenchef entsprechend kümmern, dass so etwas in der Zukunft nicht mehr passiert. Sehr geehrter Herr M., bitte seien Sie versichert, dass wir Ihre Rückmeldung sehr ernst nehmen und Ihre Erlebnisse nicht dem "normalen" Serviceangebot des Pullman Cologne entsprechen. Gerne möchten wir Sie beim nächsten Mal überzeugen, dass wir es besser können und hoffen daher sehr, dass Sie noch einmal unser gast sein werden. Als kleine Wiedergutmachung möchten wir Sie dann auf das Frühstück einladen. Wenn es jedoch etwas anderes gibt, womit wir Ihnen eine Freude machen können, lassen Sie es uns gerne wissen. Overall experience was Ok. Service good, Breakfast satisfying, good coffee. What I do not like is the quality of TV, only SD with bad reception, low variety. Reminds me of the 90´s.

« A stay in Pullman in Cologne is always a highlight in my business trips. »

This time it was unfortunately only for one night, the staff is always very friendly, the breakfast a happening, the rooms with a touch of luxury. Only I had a little issue with the water not flowing well in my basin, but minor. One of the great advantages of that hotel is the location.
