The hotel is located in a quiet residential area and only minutes away from the old town center with its cathedral. Staying in this hotel feels like staying in a family-owned guesthouse where the staff is extremely professional, personal and welcoming. The restaurant serves first-class food, the breakfast buffet offers a variety of delicious typical German and also American options. Visiting the Roman-era basement of the hotel which is housing a pool area with a sauna and steam room should not be missed. I highly recommend this hotel!

It was good experience. However I feel their is lot to improve. I want to make one suggestion if your hotel can provide atleast one free of cost complementary water bottle in the room for the guest. Also please make provision for travel chargers and adaptors for guest. I am sure it wont cost much but these small little things matter a lot for guests like me. I hope you will consider my suggestion.

Disappointed. Stayed here Christmas 2016 and your quality has deteriorated. Overall tired and grungy appearance and feel. Room did not smell clean. Paid for a 'superior room' but it felt more like sub standard compared to other hotels we have stayed in. Room shower water temp changed continually while showering. I had to clean the desk top after three days of original stains not being cleaned. Had to request clean bath towels, mini bar top up and clean cups. Requested ice several days but were told that ice machine was broken. Poor internet reception.

A properly working heating would be nice. House technician just ignored the problem. Earlier we explained it to another house technician and he fully recognized the issue but could not fix. No solution by hotel staff. No refund or anything. Issue was a malfunction of a simple thermostat that should be available in the hotel and would take 2 minutes to exchange. Had one of the bed rooms burning hot both nights. Also I was subscibed to a couple of Accor newsletters without my consent. Please take me off the remaining ones. Hotel staff and Accor dara protection office combined did not succeed to do so yet.

The hotel staff is friendly. The breakfast buffet was ok, however, on the second day of our visit I fell seriously ill (salmonella?) from an egg from the breakfast buffet. The bathroom was not ok, the sink had issues with passing through the water (waste). We found the mattress to be too firm.

The front deck was excellent. The bar staff was very good. The restaurant staff was good overall. Rooms we’re above average. Very clean. I have one negative comments. The shower water was variable. The temperature would be constant. Then it would get uncomfortably hot for 5 to 10 seconds.
