« 3 generations trip to Munich »

Very warm wellcome, especially your Relation Manager ,Alessandro?, who did all possible to upgrade our Junior suite room, which one was little for our 4 persons. OK, he managed that after first night. Of course my Platinum card level helped some. Anyhow Artistic Suite was very nice and space. Overall everything is very OK inside hotel. Outside terrace bar (with big screen-Soccer world cup) and very good cocktails. Breakfast little too busy ,must to wait table quite long and to get coffee to the table took some times even more than 20min (after 4 times asking). Why the coffee spots are so small? The breakfast

« Amazing stay beyond expectation. »

Stayed in this hotel with my family. Convenient as it is very near Munich main train station. The hotel is very comfortable. Our check in was easy and we got an early one: front desk was very helpful. As it is near to the train station, tram & subway everything from food to shopping are considered very near and enjoyable. The lobby bar with teams in World cup 2018 playing onthe tv was pleasant. Fully recommend Sofitel Munich, for a great stay.

Good hotel but too industrial. Not much exclusivity. Staff is OK, not very polished. Breakfast has a wide variety. Room service is very expensive but well presented.

« Didn't like my room as much in previous stays, but I still love this hotel and the service. »

As always, the service was superior. But the room I was in was slightly different from what I've had in the past - and I didn't like the room because of the trash can in the garbage (why a small step can?) and the carpeting.

The original room we were given was not nice at all - the window, which does not open, looks out into an internal courtyard, so there was little natural light. Happily reception upgraded us to a much nicer room. Otherwise we would have asked for our money back and gone across the road to Le Meridien

First the room was perfect. After a long plane ride from USA, reception staff were extremely helpful. Throughout our short 2 night stay, restaurant and spa staff were equally helpful. We really wish we had stayed longer, and hope for another stay sometime soon. Everything gets a 10.

Ok. But you have a communication issue. 1. We checked in on line, deposit for extras was taken. When we checked in we were asked for a credit card to cover extras. Lengthy conversation took place which defeated the purpose of reduced time check in by checking in online. 2. Coffee & water was not replaced by house keeping. Called at 5 pm & asked for them. Returned from dinner at 10 pm no action taken. Had to call again. 3. Departure day called for porter to help with bags, no one came.

My favourite place to stay in Munich and I was not disappointed. Spacious, spotless rooms and great service at all areas of the hotel as in my previous stays in previous years.
