The reception staff were excellent. The food and beverage staff were also good but the food and drinks were expensive (20 Euros for breakfast) and the bar closed relatively early.

The hotel is near to the U Bahn and Melano. Good for accessing the main station and office easily. Early check in possibilities for travelers coming from other parts of country/regions would have been better

« Good stay - thanks! »

The check in was prompt, the staff friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. Couldn't get the coffee machine to work and there were no instructions. Had to look it up on google, but even then it didn't appear to work when following those instructions and so I gave up. Plus coffee machines aren't great for those that don't drink coffee. Yes, you can make a cup of tea, but everything that goes through a coffee machine always tastes of coffee! I preferred it when the hotel had kettles in the room. The room was a little on the warm side and though there was a control unit in the room it appeared to be fixed at 18.5 degrees and so even though the room was a bit warm I couldn't blast it with cold air for a while. Breakfast was good, plenty of spare tables, set and ready with a reasonable choice of breakfast food and good choice of tea. I hate it when hotels cannot keep up with demand for breakfast tables and have lost of empty but dirty tables. This was not an issue here and so that was great. Overall a good stay, but had I the opportunity to make a cup of tea and to cool the room a little, it would have resulted in a perfect 10 score ;-)

everything was as expected, the room was clean and spacious, the breakfast was nice. the bar area was very comfortable. we came to germany for a sporting event so the hotel was merely for sleeping. it served that purpose well.

Since all the rooms have old carpets, carpets in the rooms were smelling dust and even though I stayed in a room without smoking, it felt like staying in a smoking room.

When checking in everything went wrong. The reserved parking place was not available. The keys we received for room 520 did not fit. The keys were for room 519. That room did not have the requested bed. We received keys for room 209. That room was already occupied. Eventually we stayed in room 506.

I am your high tier member in your hotel group. I had a very bad experience occurred. I was staying at your hotel in Stuggart last weekend for 2 nights. I have an serious asthma and very sensitive about smoking. Most of your hotel group such as Sofitel, Swisshotel knew that my request and they will not assign me any smoking rooms when I stay with them. Unfortunately, your hotel offered me a room on smoking floor which the staff never mentioned to me when I was checking in. Once I entered in the room, I can smell someone was smoking and the smell comes from the central air condition system. It is very unprofessional.
