We have stayed at the Manly Pacific many time before & always found it great it has a good location just across from the beach & close into town, the hotel it self provides all the amenities you require complete with swimming pool.

What an Amzing surprise to be upgraded to the most fabulous 2 bedroom suite. It truly made our stay for the conference and my 50th. The staff and service was excellent. We stay every year for the conference in November and wouldn’t stay anywhere else

A most enjoyable stay at Manly attending the Local Government Parking Summit 2019. Staff were excellent, rooms were very clean, catering during the Summit could not be faulted. and breakfast was great.

Mixed feedback, a number of the accommodation rooms were a concern as they backed onto the alley near the night clubs so noisy early morning and had quite a musty smell - not ideal for a conference. Food and service were good although the food on the second, half day was taken away very quickly without the opportunity to re-visit before departing.

We were treated very special. The hotel staff were fantastic and looked after us very well. Great location , very nice breakfast and the staff were very friendly. Close to the beach and nice restaurants .

The room was fine, the location is beautiful but from pre arrival to arrival it’s all very mechanical & quite impersonal. We’ll go back eventually when there’s a reason to stay in Manly, but it was NT be because of being made to feel warm & fuzzy - far from it in fact.

Our stay at the hotel was very enjoyable, on arrival the room allocated to us (paid for in our flight package)was a nice room but not much of a view, I went down to reception who were extremely helpful and I was able to pay for a upgrade into one of your ocean view was a lovely apartment with great views overlooking the beach .Overall a great experience.

No gowns in room so after I ordered breakfast I had nothing to dress with..... tray was left in room on another day after room had been cleaned, no table to eat diners on,,, the TV was extremely slow and had no channel menu.

We had another great time at the Novotel. We stayed for three nights ( and included the Melbourne Cup event). We have had the banquet many times before but the new seafood banquet has our vote as the BEST in Australia!. All of the hotel staff were outstanding. We were greeted every morning with a smile and a good morning. We have stayed at the Novotel many great times but this time it was a little bit better. The alterations were fanastic . Congratulations.

Booking process was great and customer service at that point was good. En-route to hotel is where the experience went in a downwards direction. After calling hotel to advise I was enroute (I had arranged a package with a bottle of wine and desserts to be ready in the room on arrival to hotel), I let the CS Rep know my eta and confirmed wine package would be ready - I was confident my weekend away with partner was going to be great. On arrival, check in was fine however on entry to room to my dismay, no wine or desserts. After an hour i contacted frontdesk who advised they would arrange someone to come up. After a further 20-30 mins a knock at the door where we were presented a bottle of wine (there were No flutes for the wine - person had forgotten to bring them up which she had to go back and get) along with the wine, was a small cheese platter ( my partner doesn't eat cheese hence had arranged the desserts) completed annoyed but to tired to wait, i said nothing) We then ordered room service for dinner which was nice- food was good - however no salt or pepper provided in room or with the person delivering- also knives and forks were forgotten from the room service person. I went to sleep with a bitter mindset. We had the ocean view superior room for 2 nights over weekend which for the price of almost 900 dollars I expected a much nicer room. It was very standard, bathroom was old and outdated, bathmat for shower was ripped in 2 pieces, bath looked like something our of a 1980s film that hasn't seen a drip of bleach. The whole experience was terrible overall and completely destroyed my confidence in a brand so global that have previously enjoyed staying with. Some serious work needs to be done with organisational skills and a complete overhaul of the hotel is needed. If i had the energy at the time i would have requested a complete refund but amongst work, a wedding and other things that weekend I did not find time. Happy to discuss further should the hotel wish to reach out however I don't see it happening.

« not as good as usual »

all good. check in was good Friday. the concierge staff not as good as usual. couldn't find my car??? delivery each day slow. also annoying push seat way forward obviously short person then don't return seat to what was. towels empty. Sat Sun staff on reception also. they said many new staff were on team. maybe need to have less new at one time. finally left stuff in room and sent email requesting be held for friends to collect. no reply to I re-sent week later. still know reply as to if they have found it. friends no longer there so I will have to ship which is a pain due to poor follow up.

Room was generous in size, beds comfy, bedside lights very good & bathroom was well appointed - love a walk in shower! A bedside table for each bed would be good. Only improvement would have been an ocean view room. I had a lovely swim in the pool.

I booked on line but as the reservation could not note a special request I had to then phone the Hotel. Prior to arrival I received an upgrade proposal which I accepted arrival. Upon arrival the Hotel was not able to meet my request for a "walk in Shower" (due to the difficulty of climbing over the baths) for the room we had requested The hotel chose to upgrade us into a "suite" which had a walk in shower but still charged me for the upgrade proposal which I thought was unreasonable. Your front of desk girl was very helpful in taking my thoughts to management but was unable to delete the charge so I paid it to avoid any further embarrassment to her. Its not the money it was the principle. I was disappointed. The upgraded Bistro is fine but the Hotel is starting to look a bit tired. We will stay there again.
