« Nice place for a short transit »

Although waiting a little bit long for our second room to be prepared, the services from Novotel is superb. The room is very convenient and the location is very strategic, very easy to commute elsewhere

I am always stay in Novotel Semarang whenever I visit the city. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Some improvement can be made are lift's program. It can be program to be more energy efficient. The guest should only push the button and not push 2 button together. It will waste the energy.

« A little disappointed »

We checked in at 18.00wib, but the both rooms not complete with towels. My booking rooms for non smoking, but i got smoking rooms, the Front Office said during ramadhan, all rooms non smoking, actually 1 room beside my room just opened the door and a guy inside is smoking inside. The sink leaked out due to old and less maintenance. Several days before, i stayed at novotel surabaya and novotel jogjakarta, everything just fine.

i was very upset for the service of this hotel , especially fr house keeping they did not care fr to clean up room n no towel at the room --- even we request till 4 times no body sent it till we strongly complaint towel deliver at 8 PM ( its too late for shower ) very bad service hotel ///////

This was my second stay in this hotel. Staffs were friendly and very helpful. The breakfas, this time, to me was far better than my last stay. There were three areas need improvement, i.e. 1) the broken/cracked vanity sink in the bathroom need to be replaced, 2) parking management need to be improved 3) stop asking credit cards with any reasons since during my booking via accor.com no crediut card were asked. I do not understand why global policy void by the local staff ? thank you

The service is ok. Checking-in went smooth, checking-out as well. The maintenance of the property is far from what I'm used to when staying at Novotel. Outdated bathroom, smelly airconditioning, room not perfectly clean. Meals and garbage was throughout the hallways. In the corridors, the airconditioning was even leaking through the ceiling.

The room was spacious but the sofa seems need to be replaced . Hotel location is perfect for people that stay for either business or leisure. Hotel with good price, location and facilities. I have stayed many times in this hotel. In my latest stay the services provided by staffs is still consitently acceptable and food quality --that I ordered thru room service-- are delicious. The only concern from me is about the food variety and taste served in the restaurant (especially during iftar (breakfast post fasting during Ramadhan) is not good and not really representing Accor hotel in comparison to other places locally and internationally. I really missed the food quality that served in my previous visits.

1. Makan Sahur was not ready by the time guests coming. It happened manytimes. 2. The food was not complete at Makan Sahur. 3. We have to pay for extra Drinking Water, while the room doesn’t provide Clean Water to drink. ???
