« Great location, and great staff hospitality »

We booked this hotel because of its location just 2 minutes walk away to Paragon shopping mall and 15-20 minutes away to the airport. This impression continue until we enter the room as we feel 'Novotel theme'. The room is spacey, simple, clean and big enough for small family like us. What was a bit regretful is that the staff put us at the level of smoking room (level 2), we can feel the smell of smoking air. I was with 7 years old kid, and no one asked us to choose smoking room or not. (I guess they saw my kid when check-in).

« Its ok but needs some improvements. »

I was staying in Novotel Semarang in couple of occasion between 27th june and 7th July. Plus: - check in were easy and we got our complimentary drinks as member. _ staffs are great - it was easy to get few hours of extension time at the check out time. Negative: - bathrooms ( deluxe and execuitve) needs to be remodelled. The bathtup paint is peeling off and shower pressure is so low. Its so difficult to get the right temperature on the shower. - the floor room at no 424 is so slippery. It could be hazardous for elderly or younger children. _breakfast buffet needs to be presented in a better way. Some foods are over cooked and looks a bit burnt. The quality seems to drop than my first experience. Me and my family loves novotel brand, however novotel semarang seems to be needing a bit more care especially on the rooms infrastructures to match up with other novotel around Indonesia if not the world. Thank you.

Time to change the bed and towel. Breakfast place is small and crowded, can't enjoy it. One of my room not ready when i check in (4.30pm-5.00pm).

There was some trouble with the room given at first, the card key didn't work on the elevator, so we have to switch the card. Then the new card didn't work with the door, the bellboy did a good job helping us to get things right. When we finally get into the new room (i'm guessing the front desk decided to give us a new room since we can't get into the first), it was spacious and cozy. The towel provided was a bit damp so we have to get a replacement, floor was squeaky in some spots. Breakfast was nice, lots of variant, and tastes good. Check out process was fast.

Good experience from check-in, stay, dinner until check-out. I arrange dinner for six at Cirus lobby floor, the tables were fully booked due to a group reservation, only small tables and sofa available. The hotel staff willing to put us in the M-floor at Square just for six of us, serving the menu from Cirus. Excellence!

I like nobotel in Seoul. I expected same but the breakfast was not prepared at all last monday. One of the client asked egg for scrambled either did i. But there were few food prepared and no egg chef were ready and no one there. Only one woman for checkig room number. I like your promotion video that happy family and business woman and dad features. How can I be energetic without breakfast like business travelers?

Overall, the staying was pleasant. The only thing we found need to be improved was in the restaurant during breakfast time. During our stay, the breakfast time was packed with guests from MICE group and from my observation the number of restaurant staff (waiters and kitchen) were insufficient due to the slow table resetting and cleaning. The food was also slow to be refilled, for instance I have to wait for 15 minutes for the infused water, juices, croissant, cheese, porridge condiments, etc. when I found them empty and told the waiter.
