Awesome a reahotel.Had lly good stay. Pretty complete breakfast with multiple options, very nice and helpful staff and a great location in the city center. I'll make sure I'll stay there again again on my next visit.

We stayed for one night whilst attending a local event. The staff at the hotel were excellent with a fast and friendly service. The only negative issue we experienced was that every time we tried to get into the room our key cards wouldn't work! So to get over this we had the cards reprogrammed every time before we went to the room.

We really enjoyed our trip to Bristol and our stay in the ibis Bristol Centre. The staff were lovely and helpful and the rooms were clean and functional. The breakfast was excellent and we enjoyed a glass of wine at the bar. The only down side was that on the Saturday night we had a bit of a disturbance with a guest banging on doors and shouting at 4.00 in the morning.

When we booked in on Thursday the receptionist took our car park ticket from us and said it had been validated for a discounted rate, this was never the case as it still cost us £17 to exit the car park, eventually, as the barrier refused to operate until we blocked the exit for approximately 5 mins ? Should the car park have been reduced, please reply so we know about this for when we next return.

The hotel is undergoing some renovations which were a mild issue. the key things I think you need to review are the menu - breakfast and dinner - both pretty basic and the ambience ( if you can call it that) of the lobby … not a great place to sit and have a drink.

I have booked for my customers training in UK factrory and I got the worst comments. Was NOT specified in your web page that you were refurbishing this building. Workers was making noise from 7:30 am. They couldn't sleep after an exhausting night in work and conference. Is a reason they said NOT to pass the business to our company I think I will take legal action against you for this unpleasunt from my customer accommodation. NOT recommended to anyone to stay again at this place.

The Ibis well... an Ibis it's good with al the touches you don't always get at that end of the market BUT the whole thing is let down by the key-cards for the rooms that don't work more often than they do work. In this day and age there is no excuse for it.

« What's not to like? »

Very clean, modern room on the top floor as requested. Everything you need including a good sized shower with loads of hot water. For the money, it will take some beating. There is some renovation work going on but I didn't see or hear anything.

A rather mixed assessment of the stay, to be honest. Staff were friendly enough, and check-in - unconventionally, not at an actual Reception desk - was efficient. Our bedroom, though far from spacious, was clean and adequate. Food and drink for breakfast was far from stunning, though, even though most (at least) of the usual drinks and food items were available. The pre-heated hot water for hot drinks was tepid rather than boiling, and disconcertingly discoloured - for no apparent reason, though we wondered whether there might be cross-contamination from (dairy) milk and the like (my wife is an allergy to dairy products, so was naturally worried about the water, as just described. There was barely sufficient room for breakfast; on the Saturday morning we had to go beyond the designated area in order to find somewhere to sit (near a television).
